Last Thursday I mentioned in my post that I was really tired and confused the day for a Friday, think that's bad well it got worse.
The kids saw their mom today so I got a fair bit of rest, took a nice mid day nap.
Anyway back to the Thursday drama
So I got a new printer that arrived on Thursday I started to assemble it and close to the end I had to cut a zip tie holding the z axis to the top of the frame, well I was so tired I somehow snipped 3 wires instead of the zip tie I was fairly bummed messing up a brand new machine.
Luckily I got the tool and the knowhow to fix it, I stripped some of the wires and then I used some painters tape to test out my wiring before soldering everything back up, would be a shame if I soldered the wires and then realized I did not connect the right wires, so the painters tape did the trick I made a quick test and the component was working.
The next day I soldered the wires, right below is a progress picture with 2 of the 3 wires soldered and sealed in shrink tubing.
This new printer is very nice a large build volume and it's fairly quick as you can see my print farm is growing but things aren't always as they seem, 2 of the printers are not working at the moment, the 2 you see on the wooden table I made and shared about a few Saturdays ago.
I been struggling with the orange Prusa printer it's a great machine but has been causing me a lot of issues I am going to have to check out one more bearing and hopefully that's the issue, I can replace it and the printer can be back in action.
The blue one under the table has been giving me some poor quality and was also printing a little offset from the center reducing the total build area so I was trying to update the firmware with the manufacturers software it' supposed to be easy one click and you done, well one click and the printer is done, the firmware update ended up breaking the printer, as of now I power it on and the control screen for it is black, I tried to install some other firmware but no success yet, I will have to try again, I should be able to get it back up and running but the quality issues are likely still going to be present and I will have to address them too but at this point I just want to make it work so it's not just a heavy paper weight.

I also want to announce a new series that I will be starting soon, So I am an artist and a big fan of art, I will be 3d printing art and posting about it here on my blog, giving information about the art as well as my review on it, I already printed a few pieces for this series and looking forward to sharing them with you all.
