Year 2023 was filled with both ups and downs no doubt about it and I also had my share of it, but I'm grateful to God for the privilege to be alive. My participation here on hive in 2023 was like someone doing hide and seek, I didn't take the blockchain with lot of seriousness. So I didn't set any tangible goals for last year. I can say it was a year of learning for me, I was surprised that I can achieve all that I got here last year.... lolz.
But with the little knowledge I've gathered so far about this amazing platform, I'm determined to work smarter and harder this new year 2024 and make hive my top priority. Setting goals is one of the ways to achieve my aims here and I've already made my Hive plans.
My Hive Goals
- Increase Reputation
I seriously want to increase my reputation this year by at least four points. I don't want to be a stagnant Hivian, so with an increased reputation it will indicate my progress on this platform. By writing quality posts, engaging in other authors and receiving votes will make it possible, so I will try my best to be more active than last year and write at least a quality post per day.
- Growing My Hivepower
Growing My HP is another goal I have in mind. My target is to have at least 2000Hp by the end of the year. I'm currently on my way to 700Hp so adding at least an extra 1300Hp won't be a bad idea at all. To work towards growing my Hp, I intend to be doing both monthly and weekly power up so as to boost my Hp. I'm assured that with consistency and determination I will be able to achieve my aim.
- More Savings
I didn't save at all last year on Hive but this year I'm determined to save more. There might be an emergency in the future and I don't want to be caught unaware, so I've made up my mind to save at least 3HBD per week, in a situation whereby I have more HBD I will definitely save it. I've started my savings already because the earlier the better.
- More Investment
I plan to invest in tokens also this year because I never buy a single token last year. So I want to start buying tokens and also stake them for future use.
- Exploring more Communities
I also want to explore more communities, last year I only engaged in 5 communities. But this year I intend to explore more communities so as to widen my knowledge on Hive. And I also want to make new friends so that I will be able to learn one or two things from them.
I don't want to slack about any of my goals at all, so I've started working towards achieving my goals so as to have something worth celebrating God's willing and I pray for the strength to keep going till the end of the year.
