Music has a very important role that it plays in the lives of everyone. When man was created, we were made to talk and also make sounds with the things we’ve got around us. As time went on, human began to express their feelings through words and then began to sing with them.
If we decide to define music today, we can say music is a sound in which people use words to express how they feel about someone or something with the help of sounds and rhythms. It doesn’t really have to be tunes that we can dance to but just beautiful tunes that we can relate to.
Music has a way of lifting up our soul especially when what the artiste is talking about has to do with the situation you’re currently in. Do you know that there are different kinds of songs like sad, happy, love, vibes and different kind of songs as long as you can always relate to them.
For example, in a wedding party, you can’t see them play dirge or lullaby. What you’d see them play is love songs. When you want a baby to sleep, you go for lullabies and those things work. That’s why the lyrics of a song is usually very important and is usually one of the best ways to catch the attention of the listeners.
That’s why we get to realize that there are some people who put some songs on repeat and sometimes for a whole day.
Also, we all have our preferences. We all have the kind of songs we love and goes well with us no matter what mood we may be in.
What kind of songs do I listen to?
Firstly, I listen to the Hip Hop genre of music. There are so many genres like the jazz, hip hop, Afro, electronic music and so much more but as for me, I love to listen to the Hip Hop genre. And I’m very choosy when it comes to the artistes I listen to. There are also some artists who are very good and I sometimes listen to them but I listen to artistes like Adele, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, Beyoncé, Lana Del Ray and all.
Listing all of these artistes, I guess you should know that I love slow songs that goes solemnly. If you begin to listen to the songs of most of these artistes, they love to sing about love. These five artistes have a way of signing in a way to make you feel loved.
This is because I like love. I love to be in love. Love is a beautiful thing and it feels good to be in love. I’m sure a day will come when my man will come for me and God knows I’ve been waiting for that moment but for now, I’d keep listening to my love songs and enjoying them.
