Good night everyone ☕🦋
On this occasion I would like to share an interesting experience and show several photos of fruit from wild plants which are quite unique and interesting for you all.
This is the fruit of a wild plant known as "Callicarpa pedunculata" which I found growing on the edge of the forest some time ago, although this plant is not as popular as other wild plants, the appearance of the Callicarpa pedunculata fruit has extraordinary beauty and uniqueness, via post I want to introduce the fruit of wild plants and also invite all of you to better appreciate the flora around us and especially wild plants that are often overlooked such as Callicarpa pedunculata.
That morning the forest air felt so fresh covering my body as I walked along the path that led to the edge of the forest, I saw dense trees with branches that crossed each other and seemed to form a natural canopy that provided protection from the hot sun, beneath which there were various types of wild plants and live side by side, each of these plants has its own way of continuing to grow, and I continue to walk carefully looking at every inch of the ground I step on, and of course my heart continues to hope to be able to find something interesting in this forest.
a few meters from the path my eyes were drawn to a group of wild plants with bright purple fruit that stood out among the green leaves, the fruit hung on small stalks, they hung gracefully from the branches of plants that were not too high, I felt curious and then I chose to come closer so I could examine it in more detail and thoroughly, after observing carefully and finally I recognized the wild plant as "Callicarpa pedunculata" or what Europeans are more familiar with as "beautyberry".
Callicarpa pedunculata is a species of wild plant from the Lamiaceae family which is very easy to find in the tropical forest where we live. This plant has a characteristic that is very easy for anyone to recognize, namely its bright purple fruit which is located on the hands. small and dense, so they look very striking and charming in the wild, the fruits of Callicarpa pedunculata appear after the pink flowering season which is also quite beautiful but not as striking as the fruit.
I started taking photos of the Callicarpa pedunculata fruit that I came across, every angle of the fruit gave a different perspective of the natural beauty that the fruit offers, there was one bunch of fruit hanging low among the twigs and very close to the ground, this gave me the opportunity to take a clear photo, I was fascinated by the smooth texture of the fruit skin which seemed to glisten in the sunlight that penetrated the gaps in the trees, this simple beauty reminded me how many small things often escape our everyday view.
Through the photos that I have captured, I hope to show you all about another side of nature that is often overlooked, perhaps many people don't know that wild plants like this not only have aesthetic value but also have extraordinary ecological benefits.
I personally feel very interested in exploring further about the other benefits of Callicarpa pedunculata, I really want to know apart from its role in the ecosystem, is it possible that this wild plant has potential for traditional medicine? Such as the leaves, bark and fruit of this plant can be used as solutions to various needs in the world of traditional medicine, hopefully I can find clues to start personal research about this plant.
