I wrote a post recently showing a few of the Star Wars figures I picked up but I didn't have a chance to take photos of everything for that particular post, so here's everything else.
These were bought in two separate lots which ended up being about 50 figures total. Currently, I have 7 of them listed up on eBay and this evening I had a chance to photograph the rest of them.
Here are all of the vintage figures.
They range from 1979 - 1984 and with age comes some wear and tear. Some - as you can see - are worn, one has a broken waist, but can be sold for parts. A fair few have chips and paint ware and of the 22 about 8 of them have loose limbs.
They've been through the wars, basically, but on the second hand market they'll average out at somewhere between €5 - €8 each, which is decent because they cost me €1 and €2 a piece.
Much better than simply selling them, however, I was able to actually take a few I needed for my own collection, which has been a goal of mine for a while. Essentially, with bundles like this, I want to buy it, take what I need, sell what I don't recover my money - or make some on top - and then do it again.
No weapons, which is a shame, because complete figures fetch much more money, and in most cases the weapons and accessories are actually worth more than the figures themselves.
These are two figures I got in the bundle.
They're about 6" and made of metal. I'm not sure whether or not to sell them individually or as a pair. I haven't looked them up so I'm not sure of a price.
Here is the rest of the lot.
Plenty of droids, clones, and stormtroopers. There are a few sought-after rarer figures here, and some that are not so rare but may still sell.
When I was a kid I was obsessed with the clones and droids, I wish I had a bundle like this when I was a kid. The Phase-1 troopers have always been my favourite and in fact, I'm looking to buy some to display my Republic Gunship, alongside a few Jedi.
I may end up keeping some of these for it, but my attitude with selling is, to put it up and if it sells it sells, and if it doesn't I get to keep it. Not that there's a time limit on eBay listing, I can essentially keep the stuff listed forever if I want.
That's my new thing anyway, Star Wars figures. I'm surprised I didn't think to get into selling this stuff sooner since I know a fair bit about it and am passionate about Star Wars.
