in Cent4 months ago

Hello everyone,
Welcome to my blog once again.

When comparing creativity and imagination, it is essential to note that, although they maybe closely related, these terms can be viewed as performing different tasks within the process of creativeness. Creativity can be defined as the generation of new ideas, concepts, solutions or imagination. This implies witnessing the aforesaid ideas right in front of you.

Creativity, of course, is the subject in which imagination places its true value on and brings into this world masterpieces. Thus, the opposite of imagination is given as the capacity to form images, ideas, and sensations that are beyond one’s experience. Creativity facilitates the normal thinking process of an individual by enabling the person to imagine and thus come up with innovations. Creativity is the fuel that illuminates the candle within the mind of an individual and makes the said person move beyond and above the typical cultural expectations.

Thus, creativity is termed as the capacity to generate ideas while innovation is termed as the capacity to transform such ideas into real forms. And it also postulates the action of change, which, in turn, means the process of implementing those ideas and concepts with the help of turning them into tangible outcomes. Creativity also involves the efforts of designing specifically a certain problem, that is, to be innovative in thinking and trying to find the means of bringing this idea to life. Bearing and enshrinement are two sides of the same coin and so are dreaming and innovating, dreaming converts into doing.

Thus, the relationship between creativity and imagination is not this straightforward and this is going to be explained below. The input to creativity is imagination while imagination on its part is not creativity. Just imagining something is not enough; creativity is the basic inclination to not just think about this idea, but rather construct it into a useful, organized and unique production. Nonetheless, creativity as outlined in the paper also includes beyond the provision of ideas, but also of the execution of the ideas and the creation of value.

However, it is important to note that creativity can also fuel imagination. The more we put our thinking skills in practice the more extensive becomes the ideas in which we can think or come up with. An example of differentiation is creativity because it offers pathways in one’s brain through which one can mix up emerging idea and generate out of the box thinking with a richer perception. Thus, the higher the activity level carrying out creative tasks, the higher the training of the muscles of imagination and the better formation of the ability to create.

Imagination is just the enabling concept that grows out of this source of creativity. Creativity would not exist at all if there were no lots of materials to use for the project. That is why if imagination is not actively employed, it just stays inactive and thus, only partly employed. The key reason for the creation could be stated as the creativity combined with the use of imagination hence the advancement of the society

Hence, creativity and imagination are two concepts that are related such that the absence of one hinders the functionality of the other. While imagination provides creativity with the raw materials that can become the substrate for creativity, creativity turns the imaginative conceptions into definite products. It is about driving out the best, ideal, and creative within each of us to sustainably develop the best solution, discover better possibilities and leave the world a better place.
