  • It is never enough, that is what any good mother would do* she said, chuckling James, on the sick bed×James smiled with his upper teeth,

In my next world, you would remain my mother the wall fell in cold quietness* Doctor peter left, to attend to the other patients.

Mrs. Elizabeth, seating on the coach of the bed, chuckling confidence in Jame. She's touching him from the head, to the neck, to feel his body temperature.

  • You would be fine, child. If there is anyone to die here, I am the only one permitted to do so* Mrs. Elizabeth said*

*Am I going to die?

Elizabeth No, child, you will not. And who is even thinking about death she is fierce and cross, a finger on his lips.

  • Shi… I love you son, and no one is going to die* okay.

A light piano music, playing in the background. Mrs. Elizabeth, looks so passionate into the eyes of Jame. Sober, tears rolling down on her checks.

Then she quickly wipes it off. But Jame noticed the tears on her check.

James * Mother, you're crying. You told me the doctor said I won't die*

Elizabeth* Yes, he said so*

Voices break out from the next wall, it seems a patient is gone. The voices are terrifying. The nurses rushing in and out, with unsmiling faces. Leaving the too many eyes in suspense about what is going on.

James manages to turn around, he spots someone lying on an emergency bed, with three nurses, taking him to the next wall, covered with white bedsheets.

Elizabeth sober in silence, and fear gripping her, she slightly lost her confidence, and then began to lose up. Then break the silence.

The Doctor said that you are going to carry out a cancer heart surgery, in the next 24 hours She said.

James countenance spells out the fears in him* he looks at his mum* pecking her palms. To reassure some confidence·.

Elizabeth. Well, from the look of things, it would be a transplant×.

A nurse walks in, James, how are you doing today?

James. I am fine, the theater would soon be ready*
Madam, remember what the Doctor told you.
Don't over work yourself, so you don't grow anxiety. You know we don't have much time again. To James. Everything would be fine.

The nurses, examines him, checking through his eyes, heart beat and other parts of his body. It seems James is breathing too fast. The nurses understand too quickly.

She reached out to the Doctor, through the first aid nurse assisting her in the Wald.

  • Excel. Get the Doctor, his breathing fluid is very high*

Victoria. Yes ma'am

She leaves to the Doctor's office hastily to have him inform.

Anita. Excuse me. She leaves to check on the upcoming patients.

James. *Mother, what did the Doctor tell you?

Elizabeth. *Oh. Child, that everything would be fine and that you would come back to fit again×.

Benjamin, walks into the Wald. Looking, determined and professionally resolute.

Benjamin. *Madam shall we?

Elizabeth. *Yes Doctor. To James. Child excuse me, let me have a word with the Doctor in his office, I will be back shortly

Nurse's Victoria looks at James, touching his born British hair. And takes a seat besides him.

Victoria. *Do you need anything…?

James. *No I don't, I am fine.×.

Victoria. * How are you feeling now?

James.* Like a dying soul*

Victoria looked at him, pecked him. No words broke between them for a while. She then proceeded to hold his hand. Pecks him on his checks again.

James felt confused, he didn't understand what was going on. Why would nurse Victoria be so concerned? He thought.

Victoria. * Excuse, I will back.

She leaves for the theater room.

James fast a sleep, from the induces drugs injected on the drip.
He is taking to the theater room, to carry out the transplant by Nurse Angela and Lucia.

Mrs. Elizabeth had been discharged, the heart was alive, but he lost her to the effects.

James. * Where is my Mother?

He looks around the Wald, all he sees were streams of strange faces, could barely remember any of the nurses except only but, Nurses Victoria.

James. *Where is my Mother Doctor? Looking so worried.

Benjamin. * Calm down. You're fine now, you need some rest*

The Doctor, tries to calm him down, but pulling one together, more specially, in such difficulties, could be so. But the Doctor has to be so professional. James, calls out… In anger.

  • Mother!! Mother!! The entire Wald, felt the pressure, no doubt anyone's in, so situation would do the same.

Benjamin. * We… We… lost her.

James cried, his eyes and heart reach the brim of his whaling. No one could make any sense to him.

Nothing looks like life in him. Not even the life that his mother has given to him, to live again, means anything to him.

Benjamin. * She said I should tell you she loves you. That she did what a good mother could do for a son.

Benjamin walks out of the theater, Wald. Maintaining a professional action, leaving Nurse Victoria, behind.

Victoria. *I am here for you.

She takes a seat, besides him, cuddling him. The silence and pain in Jame is too heavy. If the world could be traded for, Jame had preferred his Mother back to life. Just like his mother had done for him.

Victoria.* Trust me, I am here for you.×

All these were like movies, he is fainted of any feelings, for emotions junks.

I love you. Please, I want to be with you. Just say a yes to me, it all started right from when set my eyes on you on that sick bed. I love you unconditionally, James.

I don't mind. I would like to spend the rest of my life with you. Just say a yes to me she said.

She prophecies her love for him. Everything looks so strange. No woman has ever said, or prophecies her love for James before. At the same time, the ugliest thing of losing what she loves so much.

She hugs him, their lips glued together for more than ten minutes. They were carried away. And didn't hear when Nurses Anita entered the Wald.

Hmm… Anita makes a sound. She is the proprietor. A senior staff. In the hospital.

Sure you didn't hear me enter Victoria? She said.

Victoria.· I am sorry, ma'am, please forgive me×.

She quickly leaves the Wald. Looking face the floor. She was pretty shy. Feeling caught in an accident act. She used the door.

James is pretty handsome, a young man, in his 30s and Victoria, a young lady in his 27 years, she is a born American.

Anita. * James, would you want to go home today?

James.* No home, just me lone.*

Anita.×Does that supposed to mean, you got no home?

James.* No family at home, just me lone.*

Would you mind Victoria coming with you? I mean, she would be on her one-week leave from today
She chuckles, but trying to convince.

I---I--- don't think she would certainly want to do that…

Oh, it is fine, I will speak with her about it.

Anna, it will be my pleasure.

Remember, your mama did what every woman will do for a child.

Sort:

James's increased heartbeat is a relatable response hearing such terrifying news.

A mother's love can never be quantified and such was reflected in Mrs. Elizabeth, giving up her world for James. One had to go for another.

Good to know Nurse Victoria was a great support to James.
