Outdoors or Indoors preference - Why?
The humidity here is in raise. So we preferred staying indoors. To balance the humidity we made sure to consume more water and fruits, rather than heavy food. But as children wanted an entertainment, as its a weekend, we planned to catch some fish.
From where ? That's a nice question indeed. Right from the pond, in my garden.
Now, let me narrate how the pond came into my garden. Though we have a big garden, they are mostly covered with coconut trees and banana plants. At one corner we have fresh little veggies growing for home purpose.
Last year, during the rainy season, the lightning and thunderstorm, was so severe, that most peoples lost most of their livestocks and belongings. At one such moment, lightning stuck one of our coconut tree which was in one part of the garden. And immediately the top portion of it caught fire. Though we could see what was happening from our window we were totally helpless due to heavy downpour of incessant rain. The same has happened in few of our neighborhood.
After three months, when the climate was already back to its normal stage, we called for the tree cutter to cut down the coconut tree. They cut down the tree, but not the root portion.
It was a vacation time, my son and husband decided to clear the roots which was spread completely, across the garden. So each time they were trying to clear the roots the depth and width kept increasing.
Finally the suggestion came into their mind, why not make it a fishing pond, as it was already 2 feet in depth. So by taking several suggestions and opinions from an expert in an Aqua farm, the pond was completed in 2 months of time. It was indeed a long process.
Now its nearly six months, since we put around 100 little fishes (the size of our little finger). And yesterday, the first set of fishes were caught. To our delight, they were big enough to catch.

Fishing was enjoyed by the threesome, father and sons. As it was their firsr hunt, it nearly took an hour to catch eight fish. Some of them were small while some were big. Even our neighbours were given a share of our hardwork.
We tried to grill it. But, later, switched on to frying and everybody enjoyed having their share. The weekend definitely proved to be so productive, as the yield was from their own hard work.
This was how our weekend was spent indoors. This was indoors, because the pond was within our garden. It was really nice, except for the weather. Hope all of you should have a fruitful story to tell.
