Why I Am Against Gambling. #weekend-engagement, week 203

Gambling is gaming for money. It is unhealthy. It is putting down hard earned income for a toss in which the outcome is not certain. People gamble because they are looking for a way of getting easy money. I do not like gambling because it ruins people's lives. Those who engage in gambling waste away their resources and ruin their future.

Sweatless? It's Bad!

Whatever one get without work logically for it is bad. Gambling is bad. People gamble because they want to make money that costs them nothing.
The fundamental principle in wealth creation is working for it. When you work for your money, you enjoy it with true satisfaction. Those who make money without working legally for it do not attach value to such income.

Costless? Valueless!

Those who gamble spend their proceeds recklessly. They do not attach any value to what they make. The money does not make any sense to them. It is only what you have laboured for that usually has value in your hand. Gamblers live indecently because the gambling mentality erode them of value.

Kills Creativity And Productivity

Gambling kills insight for creativity and productivity in the lives of its victims. Someone who gambles cannot engage in any productive thinking on how to make money. Such people only believe in dropping some cards and packing dollars. That is an unproductive mindset. A gambler won't be creative.

Wasteful

A gambler is a waster. Those who go about gambling always believe they will win again so they keep wasting their resources. They do not believe in planning and management. They just kill and eat at one time without investment. Gamblers do not invest, they are wasters.

Those are my few points to support my opinion that gambling ruin lives.

Good reflection but in my opinion we can not always be sure of the consequences of something in life and the future always has a degree of uncertainty and you have to risk putting something at stake and that certainly is a gamble. Maybe we do not bet money but we bet time and that is even more valuable.

Thank you friend for reading my blog. I'm grateful. I appreciate your thoughts. Though we risk things in life and do stake up something that has some level of uncertainty, yet the real gambling has a deeper deadly sense more than those.
