Day by day and week after week, we get involved in various activities and events. Some of these events have positive impact on us. Also many of them do not have good impact on us. Most of us have unconsciously been developing our personality base on the things we have learnt from the programs we get ourselves involved with. Many young people who are in sports today are there because of one event or the other which there were privilege to attend in that direction. There are several people who who are married because there attended a function which connected them with their spouses. Also, there are those who have success in business because of being engaged with one event or the other.
There are several opportunities offer for the improvement of members in the church. There are those meant to improve the youths s well as those for improving the adults. The schemes have special specifications for the men and the women. Also the married and the singles are well planned for in these activities.
I was privileged to be a part of such a program about a month ago. It was on the first weekend of October. That was when we had the convention organized for the youth in the Redeemed Christian Church Of God.
I returned from the program on the Saturday after the first Friday night service. I took the pictures here will onboard the bus that conferred us back from Ogun State to Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria. That weekend was a great blessing to me. I received teachings the enhances my personal self development.
The focus in the program was DOMINION. We were taught simple principles and teaching which were to enhance our self development such that we could arise and take dominion in all aspects of our lives. I was greatly empowered mentally and intellectually by the teachings I received at the conference.
