My little girl toy, my favorite, Galen, was a bold rag doll that they bought me on a trip to Margarita Island when I was 5 years old. It was soft, when the others were plastic, and at such a sweet and young age I could make comparisons.
And it reminded me how picturesque, happy and joyful it was to travel to meet my grandparents, my parents' parents, to visit family, in other states of my country.
I also marveled at undressing her to see how they had done it, how they had glued her legs, arms, head and her whole body, as a child she had a toy medical equipment that also had a stethoscope with her briefcase, thermometer and hammer...I loved coloring books, and painting with imagination and tempera, and when I was older, between 8 and 11 years old, I loved reading Archie's cartoon magazines... hahahaha 😂 😂
My younger brothers were also my toys and for Ender, my older brother, I was his toy, was very naughty (he passed away), he had been taking me for three years and mom was always on the lookout for me, because he did things, that is, his antics and said that it was me.
My brother was scratching the walls with my name "Janitze everywhere" in the house and I didn't know how to spell my name correctly yet 😃😃😃
There was nothing more fun than arriving from the holidays at my grandparents' house to read, play, just as one of my granddaughters in the cover photo does, who enjoys playing a writer, everything she reads then she writes, and draws it as it is to me in my early childhood until she is present for more than six (6) decades, Galen.
