SPIRITUAL PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT (SPD) // 22ND AUGUST 2024 // DON'T DISRESPECT THE POOR

in FreeSpeech โ€ข last month

๐ŸฆINTRODUCTION:
Everyone will not be rich. The fingers are not equal and can never be equal. Every animal in the jungle is unique. All animals are not equal. Some animal exists for others. Many people are made to be rich while others will serve them. But the poor should be treated with respect.

๐Ÿ’”CONTROLLING THOUGHT:
The dependence of the poor is on the rich. The poor works for the rich and be rewarded.

๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ”‘KEY VERSES:

He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse (Proverbs 28:27).

๐Ÿ“•BIBLE TEXT:
Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do (Galatians 2:10 10).

๐Ÿช’๐Ÿ”ŠMAIN DISCOURSE. Not all people who are poor are doing so as a result of their actions. There happen disasters.

We may be tempted to just disregard the misery of the poor due to the scale of the global need. Although we cannot support everyone, we can support someone.

By right, if you are reading this post, you are not one of the poor indeed. Many people are poorer than you though you might be poorer than your neighbourhood. The actual poor cannot read this post as they struggle for food which they lack every day.

Luke 16:19 talks about "a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day":

In this story, the wealthy man who was presumably passing by the beggar every day at his gate did not abuse him. The wealthy man simply ignored him. The dogs appear to have shown greater compassion. While the wealthy man did nothing to help the poor beggar and relieve him from his pain, the dogs at least licked his sores.

Proverbs 21:13 says, *Who so Rich or poor, everyone on earth is loved by God. His intention is not for anyone to be suffered or ignored. God cares about the poor. We should remember them because we have been blessed more than they have."

Hebrews 13:16 says, "But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased."

Proverbs 19:17 says, "He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again."

Galatians 6:10 says, "As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith".

SAY THIS: I won't disregard the poor.
