Humpday is the clarion call of the wage slave but the #web3 ones take some time to walk and post for #wednesdaywalk. Championed by our friend @tattoodjay and the Make me Smile Collaboration challenge lead by @elizacheng, this is for everyone.
This week, I am a day late but spent yesterday looking for colour in a very grey humpday.
Grey Days of Spring
This is where we left off on my last Wedswalk. More fresh snow to bring in the spring and almost make you forget it wasn't winter anymore.
This is what it looks like in the park yesterday.
You can tell, this dood doesn't care if it is grey, green, white or otherwise. He seems to have the time of his life every Wednesday Walk, sprinting along the trails and sniffing every tree and hole in the place.
He also loves to run in the water. Hot day or one where he is crashing through thin ice.
Grey
This week, it has been grey and cool. Overcast and drizzly, swaying around freezing so it may turn into melting snow or just stay as cold rain. Better than snow at this point if you ask me but I am looking forward to some warmer sunny days to make the colour start to pop.
Downtown, not a bud in sight on the trees but the bricks make for a but of a break from the grey. Downtown steps seem to make it a real Wedswalk.
I did find some brighter hues downtown as @town-crier has a new client The Salt Cabin which is a salt spa with many other features like zero gravity massage chairs, and an oxygen bar! I have never been to one of these before and would never have imagined it would be something I would like. Today, I was able to sample the service 2 days before their grand opening and it was neat.
I really have to get to blogging on the @town-crier account and start with some insight as to how we think #hive might have been upgraded when it comes to SEO value with the latest big Google algorithm changes. Perhaps followed by a report on the grand opening.
Get to Work!
Wednesday was worky as usual with a trip to a jobsite where a new build is coming together and we have to install a wireless network for staff and guests. Scoping and wiring at this point so no colourful lights and wires.
When you peak out the window, however, you can see the 9th hole of the adjacent golf course. Almost green enough to golf? Actually yes as the season opens this Friday April 5th! I might have to take you out on the course again soon.
C'Mon Spring!
It may seem like a season in limbo between the white of winter and the green of summer. On a #wednesdaywalk, we get the chance to look a little closer and see the first signs of spring.
The closer we look, colour is everywhere and enjoying texture of life in so many different forms is a great way to spend a day.
CHEERS from a beautifully grey Canada!
Is it grey where you are? Headed to Spring or Fall?
