It's another beautiful day and I'm here today to share with you all about some vital information regarding color changes in poultry birds and whether the color changes in poultry birds dropping has anything to do with sign of diseases in poultry farm business.

Many times, the color changes in poultry birds dropping has really been a great concern for me anytime I noticed some changes in my bird's dropping especially when I just started because I have heard many poultry farmers raising great concern about the color changes in their poultry birds.

But lately and due to the experience I had so far poultry farming, I have came to realized that color changes in poultry birds is not always because there is disease among the birds but there are some factor like diet, stress, brooding, weather condition which may leads to color changes in poultry birds.

Though color changes in bird's dropping has things to do with the bird's health. I noticed that anything I administered drugs to my birds, I always noticed color changes in their dropping which is normal because human faeces also change during intake of medicine or herbs.

I don't say that you should not pay close attention to changes in your bird's especially their dropping colors but before you associated their color changes of their dropping to sign of diseases, it is very important you pay close attention to their environment more than the color changes of their dropping. Ask yourself questions regarding reason why the color of their dropping change to different color.

Are the bird's underfeed? Underfeeding can be the reason why the bird's dropping change colors.

Did you change their feed?

Changing of bird's feed can be the reason why their dropping change to different color especially when you change from one feed product to another.

Is their Environment Okay?

Good and healthy environment play a crucial role towards producing healthy chicken. Providing good environment for the birds means you take care of their environment by thorough cleaning and proper management of their bedding. And provision of good ventilated environment as well. If the two factor mentioned above is not provided or not enough, then change of color in bird's dropping may occur.

It is very normal for birds to drop color of different poops due to how good their health is. And normally, the color of bird's dropping range from different colors. While color changes in poultry birds poops play great role towards their health, but it's not enough to conclude that your birds are infected unless stated by veterinary doctor or you noticed any changes.

So instead of giving great attention to color changes of bird's dropping and feel so much concern about their health, it is very important you pay much attention to their environment and asked yourself different questions like the ones I mentioned above to identify the reason why the bird's dropping change to different color.
