Artist Ai Weiwei ask questions to AI
I was quite confuse reading this interesting article today. See, I read "Ai" the same as "AI" at first, I thought they were to put an AI to test against other AIs, but turns out this is a project on the hands of the artist Ai WeiWei. What a convenient (or inconvenient) name to have for an artist today. Imagine trying to buy are made by Ai and not AI.
AI and the illusion of thought
I have been reading multiple articles and watching a lot of videos of people using AI, some times worrying because they feel it too human, others, more rational, explaining that the AI just follow patterns, and we also do it, so if it is learning from every interaction, of course they are gonna pick up the pattern and act like an average person.
But they lack actual comprehension. That is why AI is not "smarter than human" it's average, and will be way more inaccurate to the actual facts if it is not controlled trained but is just learning from engagement online, because hate to say this, but the average content you can now see on the main pages is pretty dumb.
What makes Ai so interesting is that they look like they actually think, more and more they can mimic human reactions to the point the untrained eye can confuse them. That doesn't change that they are just based on the study of patterns. Are we talking to a machine, or to all the humanity ?

Ai WeiWei asks 81 questions to AI
So the article from Ocula tell us a bit of that is coming. This will be happening from January 1st to March 31st. 81 days of this lengthy performance, where Ai will be asking a mix of deep and random questions to different AI algorithms. It will be shown on public screens on different cities of the world, every day at 8.24pm, local time.
The artist will be answering this questions as well and it will be shown at CIRCA.art social media, the article indicates, this is focused on the liberty to ask questions, since "If humans will ever be liberated, it will be because we ask the right questions, not provide the right answers". We always say, the is no stupid questions but stupid that don't ask.
I'll be looking forward to see the results for this. Is a different way that Art and technology can interact. Not but being tools for a performance.
