I think that now that markdown works with the INLEO front end there is no excuse not for any post to look visually appealing.
You should not judge a book by its cover, however we all do. If a post looks crappy then odds are we click close and don't read.

Exactly. But still, there is a lot of writers that do the posts sad even when editing for the other front-ends, so it is more an issue of not putting in the effort or not knowing what they can do to improve, instead of technically having problems to do it. I hope they can get something from here and use it.
