Daring decision
The CEO, Andy Jassy, of Amazon made a very blunt decision yesterday, as of January 1st of 2025, telework will not be allowed anymore for all Amazon workers. A complete trend breaking decision. But Amazon finds workers a lot more productive if they keep working at their desk at the headquarters. People learn a lot from each other, and can steal with their eyes from their co-workers. Which is all not the case, when you work from home you get a lot of distractions and the effective activity is far less when working from home. So, the workers will all have to be at the office 5 days per week.

Massive resignations?
Some reknowned labour ecomosts say Amazon
will be losing a lot administration people
even though this will probably be followed by other companies, and people have no choice. It will be this or no job! The trend where people worked their hours from home the way they wanted will be turned back. Teamwork is a lot more important says Andy Lassy.
I am curious what the impact for Amazon will be, there will be resignations, for sure. But will they get in trouble?
I don’t think so!
Sincerely,
