Didn't check it and there is no Report from Hivewatcher, but some poeple say that Hivewatcher makes only 20$ Downvotes a day. So its 270 HBD to much. No in its more than 270 HBD because only half of 20$ is for the Author.
Also I mentined, that it is Bad for User who Vote and like things like kryptodenno posted.

But why are we lot calculating the effort and time? Like, HW's website where everybody can report users and the guy behind HW have to go through the reports/accounts manual to check. It takes a lot of time and he gets a lot of backlash. Not to mention the cost of the website (might not be expensive, but still a cost) and if the bot (spaminator) is running on an online server that also cost money.
I think the biggest issue I have with HW, is that some of the HBD is not powered up to further the DV $$$ & The HP could be automatically voting for burning hive posts which still gives curations rewards..
Back the to funding. $290 USD a Day is a lot. But after expenses, what would the proper amount be for someone doing this?
Servercosts are 100$ max.- per month, not per day. So this it can´t be it. And the website looks crappy and homecooked, so no costs here either.
8700$/month tax-free could be one or more qualified full-time employees, depending where they live. Question is really if 100% of a persons work goes into it, I highly doubt it. And even if, the second question is still, if so much money should go there and no e.g. only 25%, to only deal about real spam and ignore all the questionable cases which HW loves to take care about, to the detriment of many ex-users.

Time & Effort, thats hard to measure or at least the value of it.

Yes, that adds to the dubiousness of this proposal, it basically drains the money out of Hive because the HW don´t build, but most likely sell off.

I don't know who, when and where decided that this type of post is not ok. Apparently a lot of people want it though and you can see from the clear vote result of almost 100% so far that HW is not doing a good job.

Alternative it can properly be runned via a witness server and then you just pay a fee for the server use.
I dont know about the Kryptodenno thing. As I have also said, HW isn't perfect but we lack an alternative xD
I don't think it harms the people wanted to see his posts. Because I can shitpost all I want and someone can claim they want to see shitposts, doesn't mean I should get paid for it x)
And who decides what posts to get downvoted? Well, the people who do the downvoting is deciding that.
The issue is HW getting funded, if it was just a big account downvoting Kryptodenno, they could do it simple because they didn't like his posts.
