51K Hive Power Surpassed, Hive and My Road to 75K HP!
Today is Feb. 1 of the year 2024 and like every first day of the month:
- I like to publish a post in which I check and share my progress on Hive
- I like to participate in the Hive Power Up Day initiative which is a nice recurring initiative of every first day of every month.
- I like to set and share my resolutions for the month just started.
Exactly one month ago I set my main goal on Hive that I would like to achieve before the end of the year: achieve an amount of 75K HP.
On Hive there are two interesting accumulation options to choose from: Hive Power (HP) and HBD.
The HP allow you to have an APR (curation + staking) = 10%-13%.
The HBD allow you to have an APR (only HBD in savings) = 20%
Although HP provide a lower APR than HBD in savings I have always preferred to accumulate HP over HBD because HP have many use cases and especially measure influence on the Hive blockchain.
Hive is my favorite blockchain project and I want to increase my weight and influence on Hive and that is why I have set an annual main goal related to HP.
My starting point toward my annual goal is the amount of Hive Power I had on January 1, 2024: 50003.05 HP.
Today is the second Hive Power Up Day of 2024 and I participated with a Power Up of all my liquid HIVE = 519.39 HIVE -> 519.39 Hive Power (HP)
With my participation today, that's 18 consecutive Power Up Days I am participating in.
In 2024 I will try to do 12/12 as in the year 2023
With the Power Up I did today I reached an amount of 51780.16 HP.
On my way to 75K HP there is also an intermediate goal that I would like to reach as soon as possible: the status of Orca.

My current status is Dolphin status, and to acquire Orca status, I need to reach the amount of 57471 HP
In order to monitor my progress toward Orca status and toward my annual goal but especially to self-motivate myself at each beginning of the month, I constructed a table in which:
- I mark at each beginning of the month my monthly increases in Hive Power
- I calculate an intermediate monthly goal that will be bigger or smaller based on my results in the previous month.
From January 1 to date I have achieved an increase of +1777.12 HP.
To reach my annual goal I still need to accumulate 23219.84 HP (completion percentage: 69.04%)
To reach Orca status, I need to accumulate 5690.84 HP (completion percentage: 90.10%)
My monthly intermediate goal was +2272.45 HP but I did not reach this goal, so my next monthly intermediate goal is higher: 2321.98 HP.
I could have reached and exceeded my monthly goal by converting the HBD I have in my wallet to HIVE but I did not do so because the sale of the Holozing project's Starter packs is near and I would like to be able to purchase 10 Holozing Starter packs which will cost = 193$.
The Hive games are one of my passions and I have growth goals in many Hive games as well.
I will try in the coming months to recover the HP that I could gain this month but did not get in order to have liquidity to invest in Hive games.
In February there will be two major events for two Hive games in development that I am very interested in:
- @holozing: the start of the sale of starter packs (no official start date yet)
- @arcadecolony: the start of the airdrop of the SCRIPT and COLONY tokens and the presale of the Moon Karts game packs (game in development).
With the results I got in the month of January, I moved up in the ranking of Hive users with the most HP and I am in position 339 while on January 1 I was in position 346.
Since I am on Hive I have often received questions from new users about how to grow fast on Hive.
The two elements I consider most important for growing on Hive are in order of importance:
- interaction
- consistency in posting
These two elements are strongly interrelated but interaction is in my opinion the most important element.
If you are a new Hive user, I recommend that you always give a lot of importance to interaction and try to maintain a comments/posts ratio of at least 10/1.
To monitor and evaluate my level of interaction I like to calculate the value of my Posts/Comments ratio each month.
On January 1, 2024, I had a Comments/Posts ratio = 24857/1548 = 16.05
Today December 1, 2023 I have a Ratio Comments/Posts = 25627/1576 = 16.25
In January, I published 28 posts and wrote 767 comments and increased my Comments/Posts ratio by +0.20.
My goal related to interaction is to exceed a Comments/Posts ratio = 20/1 = 20 comments per published post.
In the ranking of users who wrote the most comments, I am at position 271.

I conclude this post with a small focus on the value of the HIVE token over a time interval = 1 month (January 1, 2024 - February 1, 2024).
On January 1, 2024 1 HIVE had a value = $0.367
Today February 1, 2024 1 HIVE has a value of 0.3026$
January was not a good month for the value of the HIVE token because HIVE decreased its value against the dollar: -18.80%.
I have medium to long term goals on Hive and so I see this market value as an opportunity to increase my Hive Power and will consider converting more tokens to HIVE and a portion of my HBD to HIVE.

Important note
51K Hive Power Superato, Hive e il mio percorso verso 75K Hive Power!
Oggi è il primo febbraio dell'anno 2024 e come ogni primo giorno del mese:
- mi piace pubblicare un post in cui controllo e condivido i miei progressi su Hive
- mi piace partecipare all'iniziativa Hive Power Up Day che è una bella iniziativa ricorrente di ogni primo giorno di ogni mese.
- mi piace fissare e condividere i miei propositi per il mese appena iniziato.
Esattamente un mese fa ho fissato il mio obiettivo principale su Hive che vorrei raggiungere prima della fine dell'anno: raggiungere un quantitativo di 75K HP.
Su Hive ci sono due possibilità di accumulo interessanti tra cui scegliere: Hive Power (HP) e HBD.
Gli HP permettono di avere un APR (curation + staking) = 10%-13%
Gli HBD permettono di avere un APR (solo HBD in savings) = 20%
Anche se gli HP garantiscono un APR inferiore rispetto agli HBD io ho sempre preferito accumulare gli HP rispetto agli HBD perchè gli HP hanno molti casi d'uso e soprattutto misurano l'influenza sulla blockchain di Hive.
Hive è il mio progetto blockchain preferito e voglio aumentare il mio peso e la mia influenza su Hive e per questo motivo ho fissato un obiettivo principale annuale relativo agli HP.
Il mio punto di partenza verso il mio obiettivo annuale è il quantitativo di Hive Power che avevo il 1 gennaio 2024: 50003.05 HP.
Oggi è il secondo Hive Power Up Day del 2024 e ho partecipato con un Power Up di tutti i miei HIVE liquidi = 519.39 HIVE -> 519.39 Hive Power (HP)
Con la mia partecipazione di oggi sono 18 Power Up Day consecutivi a cui partecipo.
Nel 2024 cercherò di fare 12/12 come nell'anno 2023
Con il Power Up che ho fatto oggi ho raggiunto un quantitativo di 51780.16 HP.
Nel mio percorso verso i 75K HP c'è anche un obiettivo intermedio che vorrei raggiungere il prima possibile: lo status di Orca.
Su Hive a determinati quantitativi di Hive Power (HP) si acquisisce uno status.

Il mio status attuale è lo status di Delfino e per acquisire lo status di Orca devo raggiungere il quantitativo di 57471 HP
Per monitorare i miei progressi verso lo status di Orca e verso il mio obiettivo annuale ma soprattutto per automotivarmi ad ogni inizio mese ho costruito una tabella in cui:
- segno ad ogni inizio mese i miei incrementi mensili di Hive Power
- calcolo un obiettivo intermedio mensile che sarà più grande o più piccolo in base ai miei risultati nel mese precedente.
Dal 1 gennaio ad oggi ho ottenuto un incremento di +1777.12 HP.
Per raggiungere il mio obiettivo annuale devo ancora accumulare 23219.84 HP (percentuale di completamento: 69.04%)
Per raggiungere lo status di Orca devo accumulare 5690.84 HP (percentuale di completamento: 90.10%)
Il mio obiettivo intermedio mensile era di +2272.45 HP ma non ho raggiunto questo obiettivo e per questo motivo il mio prossimo obiettivo intermedio mensile è più alto: 2321.98 HP.
In realtà potevo raggiungere e superare il mio obiettivo mensile convertendo gli HBD che ho nel mio wallet in HIVE ma non l'ho fatto perchè è vicina la vendita degli Starter packs del progetto Holozing e mi piacerebbe riuscire ad acquistare 10 Holozing Starter packs che avranno un costo = 193$.
Gli Hive games sono una delle mie passioni e ho obiettivi di crescita anche in molti Hive games.
Cercherò nei mesi prossimi di recuperare gli HP che potevo ottenere questo mese ma che non ho ottenuto per avere liquidità da investire negli Hive games.
Nel mese di febbraio ci saranno due eventi importanti per due Hive games in fase di sviluppo a cui sono molto interessato:
- @holozing: l'inizio della vendita degli starter packs (non c'è ancora una data di inizio ufficiale)
- @arcadecolony: l'inizio dell'airdrop dei token SCRIPT e COLONY e la prevendita dei pacchi del gioco Moon Karts (gioco in fase di sviluppo).
Con i risultati che ho ottenuto nel mese di gennaio ho fatto dei passi avanti nella classifica degli utenti di Hive con il maggior quantitativo di HP e sono nella posizione 339 mentre il 1 gennaio ero nella posizione perchè ho mantenuto la posizione 346.
Da quando sono su Hive ho spesso ricevuto delle domande dai nuovi utenti su come crescere velocemente su Hive.
I due elementi che considero più importanti per crescere su Hive sono in ordine di importanza:
- interazione
- consistenza nella pubblicazione
Questi due elementi sono fortemente collegati tra di loro ma l'interazione è secondo me l'elemento più importante.
Perchè un utente di Hive dovrebbe leggere e commentare un tuo post se tu non leggi e commenti i post degli altri autori?
Se sei un nuovo utente di Hive ti consiglio di dare sempre molta importanza all'interazione e di cercare di mantenere un rapporto commenti/posts di almeno 10/1.
Per monitorare e valutare il mio livello di interazione mi piace calcolare ogni mese il valore del mio rapporto Posts/Comments.
Il 1 gennaio 2024 avevo un rapporto Comments/Posts = 24857/1548 = 16.05
Oggi 1 dicembre 2023 ho un rapporto Comments/Posts = 25627/1576 = 16.25
Nel mese di gennaio ho pubblicato 28 post e ho scritto 767 commenti e ho aumentato il mio rapporto Comments/Posts di +0.20.
Il mio obiettivo relativo all'interazione è di superare un rapporto Comments/Posts = 20/1 = 20 commenti per ogni post pubblicato.
Nella classifica degli utenti che hanno scritto il maggiore numero di commenti sono alla posizione 271.

Concludo questo post con un piccolo focus sul valore del token HIVE in un intervallo di tempo = 1 mese (1 gennaio 2024 - 1 febbraio 2024).
Il 1 gennaio 2024 1 HIVE aveva un valore = 0.367$
Oggi 1 febbraio 2024 1 HIVE ha un valore di 0.3026$
Il mese di gennaio non è stato un mese positivo per il valore del token HIVE perchè HIVE ha diminuito il suo valore rispetto al dollaro: -18.80%.
Io che ho obiettivi di medio-lungo termine su Hive considero questo valore di mercato un occasione per aumentare il mio Hive Power e valuterò di convertire altri token in HIVE e una parte dei miei HBD in HIVE.
