I like nice round numbers it's just odd if there not right? Goals look on track for the end of year. The officially half way point, it just sounds weird to think 2025. A quarter of century gone already, haha.
Hey one carp and one turtle means you didn't get skunked which is better than nothing. I didn't throw a line in the water this weekend but it was still very entertaining to say the least. Take care and let's all knock it out of the park in July 😁

It is better than nothing, but I have to admit that I'm a bit worried about that lake... These turtles are invasive species and I can't remember that I saw any 7-8 years ago... Also, in those times, I had much more action on the line, catching 5-7 carps in a day, and even missing some... But, lately, I have barely 1 every 3-4 times that I go on a water... 😞
That turtle is eating everything, not just food from fish, but also other turtles (don't mind that 😃), and fish roe which is very bad... And I saw them many...
We will see what happens in the next months/years... It would be great to see fewer turtles and more fish...

I'm not a huge fan of turtles. One time I was cat fishing and had a nice stringer of them in water. I pull stringer out of water when I'm about to leave to notice they all are torn to shreds . That day forward I usually store my catches in coolers.
