After my bad end to 2023, because of 2 blood clots, I have paid extra attention to certain areas of my body. Mainly the upper back and chest area.

This Wednesday (the 6th of September), I had quite the scare after feeling the exect same as I did back when I first felt uncomfortable. This turned out to be blood clots, so naturally, I was scared.
Almost freaking out.
Back then, when they finally found out what it was, it turned out to be 2 fairly big blood clots in my right lung.

So, I called the doctors and told them the situation, and what I've been through and also gave them permission to read my journal.
I was then told to come see them so they could check it out.
I arrived at the doctors office (at the hospital) at 5.29 pm and was called in at 5.31 pm.
After a quick checkup of my blood pressure, oxygen levels and whatnot, I was sent to the actual doctor, who examined me, asked me a bunch of questions and, to my big relief, said that it was not blood clots, I was on my way back home.
I then decided to take a right turn, instead of left (which leads home to myself) and visited a good friend instead.
He, too, was relieved that the doctor had said it was nothing.
Both the nurse and the doctor said that it was not normal to see a man of my age and appearance (stature?) have blood clots.
I was told the same when I had them, and I told this to my friend (who also visited me at the hospital) and all he could say was just, that it was great it wasn't the case again.
He didn't really like to pay me a visit there, because I was all drugged up due to pain and general uncomfort.
All this makes me heavily consider getting more healthy (although I am not overweight), working out, even if I don't feel like it and think about what I eat.
Lack of life quality
During all my hospital check-ups, the docters has found two more issues. Most likely auto-immune diseases.
I would say this make my life more difficult, less enjoyable etc.
Now, in Denmark we have insurance that covers this.
Except, in my case the main cause is seen as being the blood clots in my lung and this is not considered fatal (although it could very well have been).
Hence, the ensurance company told me that I was not entitled for any compensation.
When all the "new" examinations are done, I'll talk with them again and give them the full extend of my condition.
Perhaps they'll reconsider, and I can get some sort of compensation as I'm not able to maintain a fulltime job because of all the things going on.
Honestly, a financial compensation would do me good - but a better health would be even better!
Thank you for reading 🙌
Until next time, take care friends!
