After the long awaiting and many teasers from Inleo owner, Khal, we got it! Another use case for the Inleo Ecosystem & Premium membership, a new concept in Hive Delegation, something that never happened before: Today we'll be talking about Delegation Tiers to the 3+ Million Hive LEO.VOTER account!
3 Delegation Tiers
As I quote from the official release from the Inleo official announcement, There will be 3 Delegation Tiers:
The base APR of ~13%, paid as liquid LEO daily to your account
20% APR, paid as staked LEO daily to your account
22% APR, paid as staked LEO daily to your account
@leo.voter usually pays its delegators a slightly higher APR that Hive Power Curations rewards highest percentage (sitting at 11%) in $LEO Tokens.
However, with the introduction of the new tiers, you'll be able to earn a higher APR in your gains by doing a couple of easy steps:
- Switch to staked rewards: which means instead of receiving $LEO rewards in liquid form, you'll get them as staked rewards! in addition to bumping up your rewards by 7% for a total of 20% APR
- Get Premium membership and you'll get another 2% added for a total of 22% APR
As someone who's been very curious about different projects on the Hive ecosystem that offer Delegation incentives, I can assure you that currently, LEO.VOTER is offering one of the highest delegation percentages on the ecosystem.
As a matter of fact, it doesn't just stop on the APR, but we should stress on the fact that you're receiving MORE $LEO Tokens (more about that later)
New Dashboard UI
On this recent update, get into the Inleo Frontpage, in the list on your left press More, then you find Dashboard with a New Icon next to it and you get to discover this new and slick design:
As I can't miss the opportunity to take advantage of the new delegation Tier system and being a Premium member: So I have delegated some of my Hive Power to @leo.voter
What's cool about the Dashboard is how they show the expected payout on the daily & *monthly basis which is a kind of incentive to delegate even more for an even higher payout!
Second, I went by and press Switch to Staked and got the notification to send 0.001 Hive to leo.voter in order to benefit from the +7% in delegation rewards
However, it seems that it takes some time for the dashboard to update your statut from Liquid to Staked and get to see the 22% APR and the expected payout on the correct way!
The benefits
Who doesn't love having passing income, and most importantly, who would pass the chance to get DOUBLE the passive income that he used to get with Hive Power Curation rewards.
First of all, it will attract many more delegators thus steadily increasing the Hive Power of the Leo.Voter account and leading to an even higher authors rewards for posts created on Inleo.io. Creating a virtuous cycle that would attract even more members to actively post on this given platform.
Second, the utility of Staked $LEO, if you didn't notice there is a weekly stake based curation more about this here
Where you can post a link of your post on one of these specific threads about stake based curation! The more $LEO staked on your account, the higher the posts you are eligible for curation by the Inleo Team.
For example, with the lowest rank at 1000 $LEO staked, you are eligible for submitting 2 posts monthly for curation. While on the other side, with 5000 $LEO staked, you get up to 6 posts eligible for curation!
Keep in mind that you should NOT power down your staked $LEO, otherwise you'll be automatically dropped to Tier 1 even if you are both Premium & Switching to Staked!
Conclusion
Since January, Inleo team is doing an amazing job keeping the excitement to the next level and coming up with lots of cool stuff! My goal for the short/medium term is to at least accumulate up to 1000 staked $LEO in order to benefits from both LeoAds rewards and stake based curations while trying to be more active on my posts schedule and take the most of my Premium Membership!
