Alright Hive community, we’re at a bit of a crossroads, and we need your help. First, let us set the scene: a few weeks ago, after much reflection and some serious elbow grease, we made a major shift in how our tipping bots—Indeedly, Hope, Weirdly, The Strider, Zombiebot, and MMBbot—operate. Gone were the days of rampant comment spam. Instead, we introduced daily tipping overviews: concise, elegant posts summarizing the bots' tips from the day before. No spam, just a clean little bow on the generosity package.
We even squashed those pesky “TheStrider” comments when upvoting posts (a feature we’re still testing but the commenting has been entirely halted now). The feedback? Mostly positive! People seemed to appreciate the reduced noise. But here’s the kicker: the downvotes haven’t stopped.
A Silent Storm of Downvotes
It’s like we’re stuck in an endless episode of Black Mirror where bots tip, adapt, and strive for community harmony, but mysterious forces still push them down the Hive ladder. The puzzling part? There’s no communication. No comments. No “hey, here’s what’s still bugging us” messages. Just the silent storm of downvotes raining on our bot accounts.
We’ve scratched our heads, rechecked our code, and even made sure Zombiebot wasn’t sneaking extra comments under our noses (don’t laugh, it’s happened). Everything looks fine. Yet the question lingers: What gives?
We Need You (Yes, You)
Here’s where we’re laying it all on the line, Hive. If something about the bots—their behavior, their purpose, or even their existence—is bothering you, please tell us. We’re all about transparency, collaboration, and making things better for everyone. But we can’t fix what we don’t understand. Are we breaking some unspoken Hive rule? Is there a hidden etiquette guide we missed? Or did Zombiebot somehow offend the hive-mind by trying to comment just one more time?

Actionable Changes: While we’re only human (with day jobs, families, and a burning desire to occasionally sleep), we’re committed to implementing meaningful changes where needed.
Serving the Greater Hive: These bots and their tokens aren’t just vanity projects. They’re part of a bigger vision: to contribute to the MMB setup and create something valuable for the Hive community. We want them to be assets, not liabilities.

Hive has always been about building together, innovating together, and occasionally downvoting together (we get it, it happens). But the key is communication.
