I understand that this is a bitter-sweet Birthday for you, but I hope the day is good.

The new headaches could be related to a couple of things.
The easy one is dehydration, if she is not taking eneough water.

It could also be realted to the increase of the morphine. If that is the case, it should settle down in a few days.

The third reason that comes to mind would be a new lesion in her brain from the cancer or worsening of an existing one.

It is so hard to watch someone we love, suffer from pain. I hope it is one of the first two reasons as these will be easy to take care of.

Not a day goes by that I do not think about your situation, of course having you write daily posts does help keep you in the front of my mind.
