A morning like today only happens once a year yes for many reasons including the fact that this day and month on the calendar will repeat only in a year but I thought not about the date but about the first snow that fell and is pouring from the sky and is now outside the window blocking the sunlight.
Yes, the light is dim but the sight is beautiful, there are no worries because I know that there somewhere behind the veil of snow there is a bright and warm light and I will see it when the snowfall stops.
Light is what all living things need and this is used by those who sell us electricity which is spent in a much larger volume on such low-sun days, but this, as they say, is an unforeseen expense.
Lol but how nice it is when there is enough light if only it is not turned on when you really want to sleep and would like the excess light not to bother us.
Some time ago there was a boom in the purchase of paraffin candles and electric generators during blackouts, everyone lol was actively striving for light and if someone said that he had invented an eternal source of light, and there were many such videos on YouTube, then these videos immediately became very popular but they were just a ploy for viewers and there was no truth in them.
I don’t know about you but I know only one eternal source of light and that is God who helps us get through any darkness.
Every day before writing a post I work on creating a unique collage the meaning of which would reflect illustrate my thoughts relying only on those photographs and works that I did earlier.
For me it is God's grace that He once gave me inspiration to collect all this together in an archive and now I can use it at my own discretion without looking for something in other sources of images.
Sometimes it seems that this battery should have been discharged long ago given up all its energy but no the light bulb starts to glow again this is amazing for me.
Some time ago one of my friends invited me to participate in a drawing competition the task of which was to depict the sunrise and show its reflections in the water.
In principle the task is not difficult for me, but somehow I did not find the light in my thoughts to create this drawing although I wandered through the dark forest of my thoughts but did not find the light.
Apparently God is disgusted that I please people by drawing my works and when it pleases Him He gives me inspiration to draw even in complete darkness by candlelight which has happened many times.
Therefore, my inspiration at such moments is like a lamp that is hidden behind a thick layer of cobwebs and this light invented by me is artificial and has nothing in common with true light.
Just as I don’t know when I will be able to take an evening walk with my family in our favorite park so I don’t know when the true light will touch me and I will start drawing again.
I have seen birches that gave people a huge amount of sap for many years but then something happened and in a matter of days the birch dried up and stopped giving sap which sparkles so brightly in the sunlight.
But, knowing that the light of God is eternal and nothing can deplete it I am calm and wait for the eternal light to touch me and I will be able to draw it with incredible passion.
