What goes up must come down. That's this week's theme.
I knew my X metrics would fall this week. I just didn't have the time to preplan any posts, but the metrics are still respectable.
Let's start with the overview.
As you can see, every metric except Engagement Rate went down. ER went up 8 percent to 3.1 percent.
It's common for ER to go the opposite of the other stats, impressions in particular. Here's how the other metrics moved in the last 7 days:
- Impressions declined 43 percent to 2,328
- Profile visits fell 69 percent to 4
- Link clicks dropped 50 percent to 2
- New followers slipped 25 percent to 12 (I now have 453 followers)
- Replies slid 38 percent to 8
- Likes fell 31 percent to 31
- Video views and media views shirked 100 percent and 67 percent, respectively, to 0 and 2
Of course, I don't cry over spilled milk or rejoice over sweet tea. Actually, I DO rejoice over sweet tea. I rather like it!
Let's move on to the more granular data.
Impressions and Engagements
As you can see from the below graph, I had a stellar day last Tuesday, June 25. Impressions were 1,404 on that single day, more than half of my total impressions for the week. That was a carryover from the previous week. Impressions declined steadily this past week from there, achieving a high of 405 on Wednesday, June 26. If only I hadn't been so busy!
A look at the 28-day report shows that last Monday and Tuesday, June 24 and 25, were the best days for impressions I've had in the last 28 days.
Moving on to Likes, June 25 was again the star of the show. 17 likes on that day.
New follows remained pretty steady throughout the week.
Like all the other stats, Replies rallied on June 25 when my posts saw 7 replies.
Going back through my posts to Tuesday, June 18, I discovered that the below post was the most popular with 47 impressions, 9 engagements, 2 digital expands, and 1 profile visit.
I had several posts with similar results, but that one had the most engagements and impressions over the previous week leading up to June 25. I wish I could see this data for individual posts on a single day so that I can tell which are my most popular posts from day to day. Hear that @elonmusk?
Highlight of the week: Elon liked a comment I left on a Keanu Reeves post.ao
