Ever seen a movie and it seem like there are similarities with one you've seen before but you are loving it more than the one you've seen before?

At first, it wasn't like that for me, it was one of those few series that had me wondering and confused until the second episode and I fell in love with the storyline. This series was barely recommended to me, I just wanted to see something after I was done with "Flex X Cop" and a friend had this one available for me.

In his words "You will love this one, go watch it first" and in my words when I'm done? "I loved the series".

Love Song For Illusion has a refreshing storyline, released this year. Yeah, it's a very recent series but surprisingly it wasn't hyped so much like the other trending Kdrama series and I'm really not cool with that fact. I mean, it's a storyline anyone would love so long they are a fan of kdrama series and it has got the best ending anyone would be happy to see so why didn't it trend so much?

It's a series with it's genre focused on "fantasy, dramaand history". Not your regular kind of native Korean series, I bet you! Lol. I had my doubt when I decided to see the series because I wasn't familiar with the characters, maybe it is one of the reasons it isn't trending. Well, here I am searching for more series where the lead guy starred in to see more of him.

Have you seen the series "Moon In The Day"? Did you enjoy the series? How satisfying was the end to you?

If you have positive answers to those questions, then you will definitely love this series... Why? The storyline is like an evolution of the one in Moon In The Day.

The storyline goes like this... A young boy who witnessed his father killed so many people to take the throne becomes the crown prince who is possessed by an evil spirit. It's an evil spirit that only wakes up when the crown prince sleeps and so they alternate when they wake up as the crown prince everyday.

The real crown prince is tagged half wit because he acts like a coward, can't do much aside his favourite hobby which is sewing while the evil spirit is the opposite of him as he is bolder and always trying to prove he is better than the real owner of the body.

The two personalities never liked each other but their relationship got even more severe when a lady could tell them apart. They both try to confirm who the lady really loves while fighting the bigger crimes and evil going on in the palace.

Why I said the series is like the one in the Moon In The Day, it's because of the female character role... The series is also about a young maiden whose parents were killed by an evil who became the king. She is bent on taking her revenge by killing the king but in the process, she is hypnotised by the evil spirit in the crown prince and turned into his concubine.

It wears off, she fell in love with the crown prince and finds it hard to go ahead with her revenge until someone killed the king and framed her for it. She could easily tell the two personalities apart and she began to find means to save the crown prince and also bring the kingdom to reign in peace alongside the crown prince who later became the king.

The lady's role reminds me of the guy who was killed by his lover in Moon In The Day. Aside that, a lot of scenes made me remember that particular series but I was enjoying everything about this one.

I must commend the male lead in this series for switching character so well that I almost thought they are not acted out by the same actor. From being a quiet and calm character to being so wild and evil, really cool transformation. The supporting characters did amazing too especially the villain who I am familiar with from the series "Tale Of The Nine Tailed".

There's so much to say about this series and I wish I had seen it much earlier or haven't seen it so I can rewatch it again lol. Well, it's a good recommendation if you want something interesting and thrilling, it's a 9/10 from me.
