Another TV show that I have watched recently and again, I share my review giving my opinion and telling a little about what this TV show, maybe it could be interesting for you... Hope you like it.
It's a TV show called Professor T, and it's about police investigation. There are many of these, but each one has an original point that makes it different. In this one, the main character is an intelligent university professor, expert in criminology, who knows how to analyze potential suspects very well, as well as the crime, and the psychology behind many of these cases. But it's his own personality that captivates the spectator.
What is this about?
This is an investigative police series centered on Professor Jasper Tempes, a very talented professor who teaches criminology at the renowned University of Cambridge, where he teaches about criminal behavior and more, and at the same time helps the police as a collaborator.
Specifically, he helps a small police team, headed by an inspector who was once his student, and another colleague, these detectives will find out details thanks to the help of the professor.
The Cast: Ben Miller
He is the main character, the professor, the centre of the whole TV show due to his intelligence but also due to his strange character and his particular personality, extremely polite, but distant, strange and with certain obsessions. He is compulsive about order and cleanliness. He disinfects everything and always wears rubber gloves, and it is difficult for him to really relate to other people.
He lives in a way in his own world, not only of books, theories and psychological profiles of criminals, but he is trapped in traumas from the past, and at times he has certain visions or hallucinations, which curiously sometimes help him to clarify unnoticed details of some confusing case.
Anything else to comment? Other characters
The other characters are there to support the main character or almost so that he can shine, but they also have their own role. Inspector Lisa Donckers, a former student, establishes a good relationship with her colleague, she also trusts him, understands his way of being and they both respect each other.
But there is one character that I really like, and that is his mother, Mrs. Adelaide Tempest, with a strong personality and who adores her son, she will always be attentive, because the relationship between them is close, although it is not known if it is completely sincere or healthy. She is funny and has an artistic air, and with her little dog they mark a funny point in the TV show.
There are also other funny characters and these are at the university, his faithful secretary who meets all the professor's demands and the Dean of the University, with a distinguished air but who seems absent-minded, and very close to his mother, appear from time to time in his office.
And we have said that Professor T has a strange personality, but there is one person with whom he did establish a close personal relationship and who is now the head of the police station where he works, Christina. Now everything is different, but he keeps something inside, even though nothing is the same, despite everything, due to his previous life experiences there is also a special relationship that remains (even though the mother does not completely agree). What will happen?
I have already watched 18 episodes, the three available seasons with six episodes in each one, but it seems there is another season more. And this is totally watchable!
