Awesome fish you caught man! I’ve not had bluegill, are they a good fish to eat? I’m torn because I know that people say bass are disgusting but I don’t know about bluegill and sunfish.

I enjoy bluegill my favorite is having them in a fish sandwich. The bigger ones can make a good sandwich or two with just one.
I've had bass there good but I think a lot of people throw them as tasting bad because they are sought after sports fish for tournament goers. I rarely well basically don't keep them. Small mouth bass taste better than large mouth bass though imo.
Good times for sure but I've been itching to chase some other species.
