I want to invite you to take a tour with me to the "Marina de Venetur", which formerly had the name "Marina del Hotel Hilton".
The Marina is located in Playa Moreno in the municipality of Mariño in the Vista Azul sector of the state of Nueva Esparta, on Margarita Island, Venezuela.
From far away when I was arriving at the marina I could see the birds fluttering very close to the boats, and as I got closer, the view got better and better, which increased my excitement.

Quiero invitarlos a dar un recorrido conmigo a la “Marina de Venetur”, la cual tenía antiguamente el nombre “Marina del Hotel Hilton”.
La Marina está ubicada en Playa Moreno en el municipio Mariño sector Vista Azul del estado Nueva Esparta, en Isla Margarita Venezuela.
Desde lo lejos cuando iba llegando a la marina se veían las aves revolotear muy cerca de las lanchas, a medida que fui acercándome, el panorama era cada vez mejor, lo que hacía que aumentará mi emoción.
I tell you that in the old days when the Marina was still there, it was called "Marina del Hotel Hilton". It was a time when the Island was in full swing and the marina used to be a meeting point for sea lovers, holiday makers and people looking for entertainment, and they used to visit the neighbours.
Many yachts and boats used to arrive from all over the Caribbean to play in the island's casinos when it was in full splendour, this was told to me by the man who is in charge of looking after the marina, as I am not the only person who comes to see its beauty and ask a little about its history.
In the past, the Venetur Marina had a recreational boat launch that suffered a fire in which several boats were damaged, so some of the visitors stopped visiting it.
In spite of this incident, today the marina has come to life and continues to be a special place for visitors and tourists, although the recreational boats were never put back.
Les cuento que en otros tiempos cuando aún la Marina, llevaba el nombre “Marina del Hotel Hilton”. Era una época cuando la Isla estaba en plena efervescencia y la marina solía ser un punto de encuentro para los amantes del mar, vacacionistas y personas en busca de entretenimientos, y solían visitar los vecinos.
Solían arribaban muchos yates y embarcaciones de todo el caribe para jugar en los casinos de la Isla cuando estaba en pleno esplendor, esto me lo contó el señor que está a cargo se cuidar la marina, ya que yo no soy la única persona que llega a ver su belleza y pregunta un poco sé de su Historia
En el pasado, la Marina de Venetur tenía una patana recreativa que sufrió un incendio donde varias embarcaciones tuvieron algunos daños, por lo cual algunos de los visitantes dejaron de ser asiduos a ella.
A pesar de este incidente, hoy la marina cobró vida y sigue siendo un lugar especial para los visitantes y turistas, aunque nunca más volvieron a poner las patanas recreativas.
But at the moment, it has regained its charm and splendour. On today's visit, I can attest to its beauty, the water with its indescribable blue colour with different shades, which combines very well with the blue of the sky.
Pero en estos momentos, volvió a mantener su encanto, y esplendor. En esta visita de hoy, doy fe de su belleza, el agua con un color azul con tonalidades diferentes para mí indescriptible, que combina muy bien con el azul del cielo.
The yachts that are anchored in the marina are very well protected, as one of the Venezuelan coastguard vessels is always alongside them.
Los yates que se encuentran anclados en la marina están muy bien resguardados ya que siempre junto a ellos, está uno de los buques de guardacostas de Venezuela.
There is also an administrative office that looks after the needs of each boat, electricity, water and is in charge of collecting solid waste so that everything remains impeccable. They have a watchman who is in charge of making sure that everything is in order and providing guidance; this man is the one who has provided me with most of the information I have given you.
También hay una oficina administrativa que está pendiente de las necesidades de cada lancha, luz, agua y se encarga de recoger los desechos sólidos para que todo permanezca impecable. Tienen un vigilante que se encarga de que todo esté en orden y orientar, este señor fue el que me ha proporcionado gran parte de la información que les he expuesto.
Near the entrance to the marina on the right hand side is the lighthouse, which serves as a guide for sailors at night and in bad weather for various boats entering the marina for shelter.
Cerca de la entrada de la marina a mano derecha está el faro que orientar, le sirve de guía a los navegantes en las noches y cuando hay mal tiempo sirve de guía a diferentes embarcaciones que entran a la marina para guarecerse
In this beautiful experience, I was able to see a man fishing with a nylon in the clear waters of the marina.
En esta bella experiencia, pude ver a un señor pescando con un nylon en las aguas transparentes de la marina.
But what thrilled me the most was to see the birds flying very close, it was incredible.
Pero lo que más me emocionó fue ver las aves volando muy cerca, fue increíble.

All in all it has been a beautiful experience and I could not fail to share with you this brief tour I took in the Venetur marina, a great natural attraction in a space that combines the elegance and nature of Margarita Island 🌴🛥️
En general ha sido una bella experiencia y no podía dejar de compartir con ustedes este breve recorrido que di en la marina Venetur un gran atractivo natural en un espacio que combina la elegancia y naturaleza de la Isla de Margarita 🌴🛥️
