That is just a short canal, but believe me, rivers in Spain are mostly even narrower than this, or completely dry... 😞 That is becoming a bigger and bigger problem as there is a lack of freshwater...

I had the same idea when I took that photo with a big tree and the shade it makes... Perfect place for a picnic and a book!
