"A Journey to Innovation and Growth: On the Road to Bitcoin Tour 2024" hive in my heart!

A trip of great importance, taking the work flag "Crossing Borders". In this opportunity, I would cross the border between Venezuela and Colombia.

I left Valencia on the 21st from my homeland, Valencia, Venezuela, very excited and with many expectations about this event. The Bitcoin Tour 2024 in Cúcuta, Colombia, promised to be a unique experience, full of learning and opportunities in the world of cryptocurrencies and the work I do in web2 and web3 as a content creator.

From the moment I boarded the bus that would take me to the border, I felt a mixture of nervousness and excitement. It was my first time attending an event of this magnitude, as I would be meeting friends and colleagues also highly reputable content creators who were waiting for me for the first time at this magical gathering. The idea of meeting this fantastic team was really exciting.

During the trip, as we crossed physical borders, I reflected on how blockchain has connected people from all over the world in a common digital space, regardless of geographical barriers. It is amazing to think about how a technology can unite people of different cultures, languages and beliefs under one goal.

The journey from Valencia to the border with Colombia was long but full of much feeling and joy. On the way we made several stops, one of them in the small town of San Carlos, where we could enjoy a delicious meal and take strength to continue the trip. From one of the closest states to my country, we could witness, due to the great social situation in Venezuela, that they accepted the local Colombian currency (pesos).

We made many stops to be checked by the country's security. We left at approximately 8:00 p.m. from Valencia and our arrival time was 7:00 a.m., but due to the large number of controls, we arrived a little later.

Finally in the city of San Cristobal, Tachira State, we arrived at about 8:30 am. From there, we quickly boarded one cart per post to the city of San Antonio. The trip took about 1 hour. After arriving, we drove to the border of Colombia and Venezuela, the Tienditas International Bridge. This iconic bridge brings back many memories of significant events for both countries.

On the way to the Venezuela-Colombia border, I had the opportunity to meet a lovely couple who were about to travel to Chile, also leaving from Venezuela. We met while waiting at one of the bus stops and quickly struck up a conversation. It turned out that we shared similar interests in content creation.

During the trip, we exchanged stories about our respective projects and shared some photos of our experiences. It was inspiring to hear about their plans for the future and how they were excited to explore new opportunities in Chile. In addition, we discovered that we had a common connection: an interest in the world of cryptocurrencies.

We parted with a promise to keep in touch and perhaps see each other in the future. It was a reminder of how travel can provide unexpected encounters and meaningful connections with people who share your passions and interests.

We stopped to take several photos on the bridge to admire this giant connection to Venezuela and Colombia. After that, we continued on our way for a few minutes to the terminal in Cúcuta.

At the terminal, I decided to go to a money exchange to be able to have Colombian currency and thus be able to move within this country. We stopped to eat some goodies and then we continued our journey by cab to the Hotel Casino Internacional de Cúcuta to finally arrive to this long awaited event.

As we approached the event, I couldn't help but think about the amount of great content creators that would be present and their important participation in spreading ideas and knowledge about cryptocurrencies. It was clear that this event would be a crucial meeting point for all those who are interested in the world of financial technology and decentralization.

Upon arriving at the Hotel Casino Internacional de Cúcuta, I was ready to check in and go to lunch. After being handed my credentials inside the hotel, I was excited and ready to dive into all that Bitcoin Tour 2024 had to offer. It was time to soak up knowledge, connect with colleagues from around the world and be a part of this unique experience in the world of cryptocurrencies.

Un viaje de gran importancia, tomando la bandera de trabajo "Cruzando Fronteras". En esta oportunidad, cruzaría la frontera entre Venezuela y Colombia.

Salí de Valencia el día 21 desde mi tierra, Valencia, Venezuela, muy emocionado y con muchas expectativas sobre este evento. El Bitcoin Tour 2024 en Cúcuta, Colombia, prometía ser una experiencia única, llena de aprendizaje y oportunidades en el mundo de las criptomonedas y el trabajo que realizo en la web2 y web3 como creador de contenido.

Desde el momento en que subí al autobús que me llevaría a la frontera, sentí una mezcla de nerviosismo y emoción. Era mi primera vez asistiendo a un evento de esta magnitud, ya que me encontraría con amigos y colegas también creadores de contenido de alta reputación que me esperaban por primera vez en este mágico encuentro. La idea de encontrarme con este fantástico equipo de trabajo era algo realmente emocionante.

Durante el viaje, mientras cruzábamos las fronteras físicas, reflexioné sobre cómo la blockchain ha conectado a personas de todo el mundo en un espacio digital común, sin importar las barreras geográficas. Es asombroso pensar en cómo una tecnología puede unir a personas de diferentes culturas, idiomas y creencias bajo un mismo objetivo.

El trayecto desde Valencia hasta la frontera con Colombia fue largo pero lleno de mucho sentimiento y alegría. En el camino hicimos varias paradas, una de ellas en el pueblito de San Carlos, donde pudimos disfrutar de una deliciosa comida y tomar fuerzas para continuar el viaje. Desde uno de los estados más cercanos a mi país, podíamos presenciar debido a la gran situación social de Venezuela, que aceptaban la moneda local colombiana (pesos).

Hicimos muchas paradas de revisión por parte de la seguridad del país. Salimos aproximadamente a las 8:00 p.m. desde Valencia y nuestra hora de llegada era a las 7:00 a.m., pero debido a la gran cantidad de controles, llegamos un poco más tarde.

Al fin en la ciudad de San Cristóbal, Estado Táchira, llegamos como a las 8:30 a.m. De allí, rápidamente abordamos un carrito por puesto hasta la ciudad de San Antonio. El viaje fue de aproximadamente 1 hora. Luego de llegar, nos dirigimos hasta la frontera de Colombia y Venezuela, el Puente Internacional de Tienditas. Este icónico puente trae muchos recuerdos de eventos significativos para ambos países.

Durante el trayecto hacia la frontera entre Venezuela y Colombia, tuve la oportunidad de conocer a una pareja encantadora que se disponía a viajar a Chile, también saliendo de Venezuela. Nos encontramos mientras esperábamos en una de las paradas del autobús y rápidamente entablamos una conversación. Resultó que compartíamos intereses similares en cuanto a la creación de contenido.

Durante el viaje, intercambiamos historias sobre nuestros respectivos proyectos y compartimos algunas fotos de nuestras experiencias. Fue inspirador escuchar sobre sus planes para el futuro y cómo estaban emocionados por explorar nuevas oportunidades en Chile. Además, descubrimos que teníamos una conexión común: el interés en el mundo de las criptomonedas.

Nos despedimos con la promesa de mantenernos en contacto y quizás vernos en el futuro. Fue un recordatorio de cómo los viajes pueden brindar encuentros inesperados y conexiones significativas con personas que comparten tus pasiones e intereses.

Nos detuvimos para realizar varias fotos en dicho puente y así poder admirar esta conexión tan gigante con Venezuela y Colombia. Luego de eso, continuamos nuestro camino que fue de algunos minutos hasta el terminal de Cúcuta.

En el terminal, me dispuse a ir a una casa de cambio para poder tener moneda colombiana y así poder movilizarme ya dentro de este país. Nos paramos a comer algunas golosinas para así continuar nuestro recorrido en taxi hasta el Hotel Casino Internacional de Cúcuta para poder al fin llegar a este tan esperado evento.

Mientras nos acercábamos al evento, no podía dejar de pensar en la cantidad de creadores grandes de contenido que estarían presentes y en su importante participación en la difusión de ideas y conocimientos sobre las criptomonedas. Era evidente que este evento sería un punto de encuentro crucial para todos aquellos que están interesados en el mundo de la tecnología financiera y la descentralización.

Al llegar al Hotel Casino Internacional de Cúcuta, me dispuse a hacer mi chequeo de entrada y de una vez ir a almorzar. Después de que me entregaron mis credenciales dentro del hotel, me sentí emocionado y listo para sumergirme en todo lo que el Bitcoin Tour 2024 tenía para ofrecer. Era el momento de absorber conocimientos, conectar con colegas de todo el mundo y ser parte de esta experiencia única en el mundo de las criptomonedas.
