Writing about this picture information..
Mujibnagar (formerly Baidyanathtala) is a historical place located in Meherpur district of Bangladesh (then Kushtia). The first provisional government of Bangladesh, which led the liberation war, was formed on 10 April 1971, after which the government took oath on 17 April 1971 at Amrakanan in Baidyanathala (now Mujibnagar) in Bhaberpara. The president of this government was Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the interim president was Syed Nazrul Islam. The first prime minister of Bangladesh, Tajuddin Ahmad, named the place Mujibnagar. At that time, the top of the government document was written 'People's Republic of Bangladesh Government, Mujibnagar'. The address of the government was Mujibnagar. [1] Mujibnagar was the capital of the government until the surrender of the Pakistani occupation forces on 16 December.

The Liberation War Memorial Complex has been built here to preserve the tradition of the Mujibnagar government.
