Hello, Hive travelers friends greetings when it is summer in Norway we are more active in traveling and hiking, road trips, and walking Last summer after 5 days of Vestland travel ( still many places to explain) We headed to the north where the sun doesn't set.
I will post the landscape experience later, but a very interesting point in that travel was the ETCETERA flower shop. If you are traveling that side please don't miss to stop by there and have a cup of coffee.
It is a different experience than normal travel. The place etcetera is an interesting attraction for tourists, something wonderfully different to see during travel to Dønna and Herøy besides mountains, islands, and coastal life. Etcetera the best flower shop I have ever seen in my life. The shop's name is " ETCETERA-BOTANISKE UTSKEIELSER MM" "botanical excesses, etc." in addition to a wide assortment of flowers and plants, the shop also offers interior items, books, licorice, and chocolate, can drink a cup of coffee on the balcony/terrace, beautifully made of reused material. And experience the special decorative toilet.

Etcetera has become an attraction in Herøy. It is located about 5 km from Silvalen, We were visiting our very dear friend who is from the area close to Sandessjøen with her family. We had taken a Ferry to Herøy and Dønna to explore the islands by car. Her sister and brother-in-law wanted to bring us on this trip, taking a number of stops from along the way. That will be the next post where we stopped and what we saw on the way to Herøy.

When we entered the outdoor garden the animals made of cement welcomed us. They are very cute.

a variety of big and tall urns for plants caught our attention as soon as we entered.

To reach the top terrace we passed under an arch of dried branches.

The path to terrace no.1 goes between all these terracotta urns.

Before climbing the stairs to the terrace there is a nice sitting place with a fire bowl. typically in cold weather people sit around the fire bowl and enjoy roasting sausages.

From this terrace, we can see the Donnaman mountain's west side. after observing the surroundings I turned back to the garden.

This is the only path to walk.

On the loft, they set up a nice sitting room where customers can relax with a cup of coffee, or pass through to the outdoor terrace on the east side.

Last but not least were the two highly decorative toilets.

This was a different travel experience than usual. i took so many photos that i ran down my battery so some of the last ones were taken my husband. If you are traveling that way to explore north Norway's island life don't forget to visit this flower shop.
Thank you very much.
