Hello people!
One more walk and a new route through the magnificent city of Moscow, the capital of Russia. We have seen many things, especially some of the best-known and most popular places in the city, but Moscow offers a lot to those who want to know and experience it. Not all are urban spaces, we can also visit large parks, and breathe relaxed in a natural environment that seems to take us away from the city despite still being in it.
And what surprises us most is the large number of great parks to visit, I saw many, but we are going to summarize now by visiting two of the most curious and interesting, but as I say, there are many!
Kolomenskoye Park
I liked it a lot and it surprised me even more. It is a huge and beautiful park, somewhat far south of the city but highly recommended to visit, and with the subway it is not that complicated to get to, since the stop has more or less the same name.
And the most notable thing is the Church of the Ascension, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and of great beauty while being simple and charming. The entire complex, the area, and all the surrounding buildings are striking as we also find others with peculiar and striking architecture, and the summer residence of one of those tsars of the time.
All those architectural elements from other times so characteristic together with the natural environment and the views of the Moskva River make the place a pleasant space where you can spend a good sunny day, there are also stalls and booths where you can buy food, typical of the place and also drinks, that kind of dark and very sweet beer called Kvass. Enjoy Moscow in this fantastic park!
Tsaritsino Park
And also in the southern part of the city, another park, but with another style, this a more regal and palatial park, another era to be able to remember on a charming walk surrounded by beautiful nature and architectural elements that create a harmony that is enjoyed by all those who have lucky enough to visit this elegant park.
It is clearly elegant because it has that type of designed gardens, where the flowers create beautiful figures and visual elements that amaze our eyes. We also cross bridges over canals and lakes, until we reach an imposing fountain where the water and its sound take on all the powerful attention, in a majestic style.
But another nice palace complex could not be missing, one of those beautiful and lavish palaces that royalty used to enjoy in the summer months, surely. With decorated and ornate architecture also in tune with the environment, or so it seems, because everything is beautiful and everything is calm and relaxed to the eye and the rest of the senses.
Especially because we also discovered a lake, calm and serene, yes, there were many mosquitoes! so I had to leave quickly (another story to tell...) and then we were able to cross a forest that took us to another world, since other times we thought that we had to return to the present and again to the beautiful city of Moscow. We continue...
It is good to visit iconic parks in big cities because they give us another perspective of the place itself, they allow us to relax and breathe surrounded by nature, and sometimes we discover important and surprising elements like in these wonderful parks.
There is little left of the tour of Moscow, some other elements and general views to finish experiencing the city a little more, so again soon just a bit more about this amazing city!
