Hello people!
There is always something left from those places we visited, the memory remains in our memory, sensations in our hearts and many photos to share to see that beautiful city of Moscow again. We come back to the capital of Russia, one more time.
And we can see and enjoy a city in many different ways, we have already done it, walking or by boat, through parks or museums, looking at churches or walking through squares, also at night, or simply walking through its streets full of life and admiring the beauty of the architecture of its buildings, in Moscow there is a lot to choose from.
Moscow by night
Moscow nights are intense, happy and beautiful. There are many interesting places where you can go and drink something... vodka? Many of these are in an area that is an island in the Moskva River itself that runs through the city and about which I already talked with photos from a boat.
Well, the city takes on a magical touch, especially with lights on emblematic monuments and reflections on the river while we cross a bridge in search of more special places, fun and some adventure to tell...
Street life in the city
And if we discover that there is a lot of life, light and party at night, also during the day when we simply walk through its downtown streets and other popular ones, like Arbat street for example.
In the streets of a city where we see real life, those people who live there daily and then we find precisely everyday and also curious scenes like some couple who have gotten married!
And also monuments, statues and large buildings that remain impassive before the passage of people, many people who visit these places again and again, some in a hurry and others in a relaxed way enjoying that special urban atmosphere.
Beautiful Buildings
The Cathedral of Christ the Savior
Among all those places, night or day, there is one that always stands out and attracts attention, a beautiful, elegant and imposing cathedral. In addition to being very large, it is in an interesting place, next to the river and very close to the Kremlin so it is easy to get to, and the whole environment still makes the impressive building something more special.
With its sober white façade and its shiny golden domes, it acquires a visual balance that undoubtedly gives peace, and the citizens go there, many of them actually and we respect the interior and all of them. As we move away, another winter day where, on a frozen white river, it once again stands out before our eyes.
And some more...
But there are so many places, buildings and monuments that it is difficult to share them all and comment on them. But here I show some, such as the important Bolshoi Theater where we can go to see a ballet performance, an art so characteristic here. And also another one with long dark and square columns that turns out to be the National Library, something different, but without a doubt original and striking.
Then communist-style buildings, Orthodox churches or palatial facades from imperial times, everything is combined together with those of new design, in a kind of original, colorful, eclectic and very interesting urban collage that awakens our curiosity and fascinates us. Always leaving us wanting to see more in Moscow.
And we want more, but there is little left... perhaps one more post, from an unmissable place, to say goodbye to this fascinating city. One more soon!
