Ross Garden and Ecopark
Most of the time I visit these places they are not even planned, They happen at the moment and that is somehow good. It was one of the last days of summer, I think! I wanted to clear my mind and ride my bike for a couple of hours, so I ended up visiting these two beautiful places.
I remember that it was a weekday, the parks were without many people, especially the Rose Garden and the surrounding areas in all the forests of Palermo. A perfect day to take a ride on these pedal boats.
This is an activity that I have to do someday, despite being somewhat expensive I think it is worth enjoying this. The lakes of Palermo are beautiful and spending half an hour crossing them in these boats is a very nice experience.
Here you can see how desolate the rose garden was at that time, I took some photos of the structures how they are in harmony with all the vegetation that surrounds it.
This is the sign that is found at the entrance to the Rose Garden, with some rules when entering, such as not entering with pets, not bathing in fountains or lakes, do not enter with pets and above all take care of the roses and the natural space.
It's impossible to visit this place and not take some photos of the geese inside the lakes or others that walk freely all around. That day I had my 55-200mm lens, ideal to not get too close to them and not bother them since they are known to be a bit aggressive.
This is actually the rose garden, there are too many flowers and perhaps a botanist and photographer would appreciate this in a better way. Personally, I don't know about this, so I dedicate myself to enjoying them in general and also appreciating them in the photographic field.
I decided to add a couple of photos that I took while crossing the Ecopark to go to the forests of Palermo. It was intended to mix nature with old and modern architecture. The Ecopark is full of this type of buildings, gazebos and structures with classic designs, large columns, interesting domes and more. While when you get to the forests you simply see modern buildings around you.
I think it was the last really warm day ride. We are in autumn here and these places stop being visited but not completely. Without further ado, I hope you enjoyed these landscapes and the photos. Hugs to everyone and have a nice day :)
That's all folks. Thanks so much for stopping by and appreciating.
