One of the most traumatizing parasites that exist, I have seen countless images or videos about the extractions of these and it is really incredible how long they can be. In my college internship I saw the cysts in pork, whenever I see something about T. solium I remember that series called “Monster inside me” ha ha.

I remember watching videos about the cysts. I was paranoid when cooking pork for a few months. lol
The same thing happens to me haha, when we know something new that can affect us always unleashes a new fear, even I am one of those who do not eat raw or undercooked meat at all 🤣🤣.
Another anecdote is that as a child I ate unwashed fruits from the trees in the street, but one day I got an amoebiasis that had me hospitalized for a couple of weeks, since then I always wash vegetables or fruits very well before eating them. After the amebiasis my stomach was never the same again.
