Hola, queridos amigos de Hive Argentina, qué gusto saludarlos nuevamente. Hoy estoy feliz de unirme a esta maravillosa iniciativa que nos invita a homenajear a las banderas de nuestros países, permitiéndonos conocer un poco más de la historia del mundo.
El día de hoy, desde muy temprano, la bandera de mi país estuvo colgada en la ventana de mi casa, porque hoy se conmemora 203 años desde la batalla de Carabobo. Mi hijo me ayudó de manera entusiasta y comenzó a cantar el himno, tal cual lo hace en la escuela.
Desde niños hemos crecido amando la bandera de nuestro país y, aunque algunas cosas han cambiado, en las últimas décadas, llevamos nuestro tricolor con orgullo. Recuerdo de niña que una de mis actividades favoritas en la escuela era izar la bandera. Todos los días, a un niño le correspondía izar la bandera mientras los demás entonaban el himno nacional.
Consideró que es justo en esa etapa de educación inicial, cuando comenzamos no solo a amar, sino a respetar este bello símbolo que nos identifica como nación. Me gusta mucho la bandera de mi país, pero esta ha pasado por muchos cambios a lo largo del tiempo. El último cambio que hicieron fue agregar una estrella más. En la foto inicial, podemos ver todos los cambios que ha tenido la bandera de Venezuela. Aunque sé que no se puede apreciar a detalle.
Pero no solo la bandera ha sufrido cambios, incluso el día de la bandera, fue cambiado hace pocos años y sinceramente desde entonces prácticamente pasa desapercibido este día. Lamentablemente, estábamos acostumbrados a celebrarlo el 12 de marzo, pues fue la primera vez que se ondeó la bandera, pero según los datos históricos, este hecho no ocurrió en tierras venezolanas, sino hasta el 03 de agosto. Me encantan los colores de la bandera de mi país y recuerdo mucho una canción tradicional que escuchábamos en la escuela, que se llama el papagayo, una canción del grupo musical serenata guayanesa. Esta canción es muy hermosa porque describe lo que significa cada color.
El amarillo lo comparan con el sol, pero desde niños nos enseñaron que representa las riquezas del país, el azul, representa al mar y al cielo, y las 8 estrellas blancas en la canción la comparan con 8 garzas y 8 luceros, pero en realidad cada estrella representa cada provincia (actualmente Estado), que participo en la independencia de Venezuela, entre ellos mi querida Mérida. Y el rojo, lo comparan con un Cardenal, pero en sí representa la sangre de los héroes de la independencia.
Creo que cada bandera, de cada país, tiene un significado muy especial, un significado de lucha, de trabajo, de victoria y también de dolor. Actualmente, existen muchas banderas que duelen, por la situación que cada país pasa, una realidad muy distinta a otra. Esa es una razón suficiente para respetar y amar la bandera de cada país, porque en cada una se refleja su historia y su gente.
A seguir cultivando este respeto en los niños, y como ciudadanos, nuestro deber es tratar de seguir haciendo las cosas lo mejor que podamos, para poner en alto el color de nuestra bandera. Felicidades a Argentina porque celebraron el 20 de junio este honorable día. Las fotos que hoy les comparto las tomé en el Parque la Bandera de la ciudad de Mérida, un día de paseo en familia. En este parque encontramos muchas banderas, entre ellas la bella albiceleste, una de mis banderas favoritas.
