One of the most common uses of timber is furniture. Timber is used for constructing luxury furniture like chairs, dining tables, and beds due to its aesthetic appeal and durability.

Secondly, timber serves as a construction material. Timber can be used in home base construction; it is used for constructing bridges and pillars. Timber is very important in construction.It can also be used for flooring, decking, and interior finishing.

Also in carpentry aspects, it is used for doors, windows, staircases, and built-in wardrobes.
Timber is used for making paper; wood pulp is derived from timber and used in the production of paper and cardboard. As far as paper is useful to the world, then timber has a great job to do in the lives of humans. Though it is not eatable, it is useful.

Timber is used for gardens, fencing, and retaining walls. In this aspect, timber is placed together to guide the crops from livestock like goats and cows to penetrate or destroy. In agriculture, timber is used for building barns, sheds, and other agricultural structures.

Timber is an instrument for artists and craftsmen; it is used for sculptures, carvings, and decorative items.
