What I see:
One of the wonders of nature. A misty mountain, where the mountain is covered by fog and where you feel its easy to reach the clouds. Most of all, I can see a professional boy / cyclist riding in one wheel through the edge of the mountain. A bold attempt.
What I feel;
Looks like the boy has succeeded his impossible mission and is happily driving back, after cycling till the peak.
A story in short.
Adam was an obedient boy living with his father and two elder sisters. He lost his mother, at the age of ten, who was so dear to him.
Hailing from a poor family, where his father was working on daily wages and his sisters discontinued education, he could barely meet his necessities at the age of 17. But he was a happy child, contented with what he had.
Unlike his friends, who were studying in better school with better facilities, he was going to a private school, nearby, where the school remained closed most of the days. Though he was unhappy about his education, he was happy with his bicycle, a precious gift from his maternal Aunt.
Very shortly, his school started to function. And their came a new admission to his class, Lena. A very studious girl with brains hailing from an Average family. Adam and Lena became close to eachother exchanging general views, encouraging eachother on studies, hobbies etc.
In the school sports day, cycling was an event. And every year Adam was one of the participant and he was one of the winner. But when it came to All School Annual Sports meet, he couldn't rather make up with his ordinary bicycle. And he became a laughing stock among his friends, who instead of supporting him, bullied him with his rather ordinary cycle.
A boy of firm Will power, it was his dream to win the over all championship once in life time. This was his final year in school and he wanted to win the title. For this he worked day and night. His father understood his feelings. On one hand he wanted to buy a racing cycle for him, but on the other hand he was finding it difficult to meet the ends of the family.
Once Lena learnt about his craze in cycling from his friends and his regular absence from school, she made a silent visit to his home. She found he was cleaning, fixing and oiling his bicycle. When enquired, he narrated his happiness in participating in the overall cycle championship. But Lena, understood he would not be able to make up with his present one.
Right from her childhood she used to have the habit of saving in piggy bank. She put the matter to Adam. Though Adam was not interested in this, Lena forced Adam to accept. So one morning, she broke her piggy bank and was happy to find enough money to purchase a bicycle. With heavy heart and a great feeling of love for Lena he accepted the amount and purchased a racing cycle, the helmet, the boots, the outfit and other necessary equiments.
The announcement for the next Annual School was published in Newspaper. He enrolled his name. From then on, day and night he worked hard, cycling miles away with a fixed time. The day was fixed.
Just the night before the competition, in his sleep, he dreamt he was riding towards the peak of the mountain touching the clouds, and Alas! there he saw a fading figure, his dear Mom, who wished him only success. With no boundaries to happiness he rode his new bicycle with one wheel.
He woke up with a jerk, only to find he was sweating profusely. It was early in the morning. He got ready with his outfit, took his father's blessings and rode his cycle to the place where the race was to be held in a short span of time. Lena accompanied him.
On reaching the sports ground, he became a little nervous but his mother's words in his dream and Lena's support, gave him confidence. Immediately, a surprise announcement was made, this time the winner will be given a cash award worth $500. Soon, the contestants were given chest numbers.
The Mike announcement started and all the contestants were asked to position themselves in the track. The whistle blew, and the race began. Though Adam was in the third position, slowly he took to the fifth position, but then his mother's words kept booming in his ears and slowly started to head one after the other and reached the second position. The first and second was in pace, giving the stadium a numbness, but then when Adam gradually took to the first pace, the crowd cheered him and flash he goes to win the race in the first position.
Overwhelmed by joy and excitement, he hugged Lena and cried. He was given the title and cash award by the judges. With prayers in heart, he took Lena in his cycle to where he saw his dream. While reaching the peak, Lena was scared so she stayed far away from the peak, while Adam drove to the peak to thank his mother and came back riding in one wheel through the edge of the rock, just to impress Lena.
