A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words

Greetings dear Hiveans!!! Hope all of you are having a wonderful time, busy creating a wonderful story for this wonderful prompt

What I See :
A peaceful looking seagull, flying over the huge sea, its eyes focusing on someone in particular. Their is a ship and a boat far behind the seagull.

What I feel:
The seagull is calmly flying over the sea, and looks like it has caught a glimpse of its prey.

A fictional story:
The seagull is a happy little bird flying over the sea, enjoying the cold weather, the cool breeze and the friendly nature in particular.

Besides the sea are huge buildings. And in one of the roof top is the nest where its eggs are ready to hatch. When its female counterpart is protecting the egg, the male seagull is busy searching for its prey. At the same time, keeping a watch over the regular visit of the eagle to rhe roof top.

As such it got a glimpse of some small fishes, to satisfy the day with its female counterpart. Slowly, it went into the sea with a thud noice, and succeeded in getting few small wishes. And happily perched over a nearby tree.

After few minutes it flew over the roof top to share its food with his female counterpart.

This is purely a work of fiction. Hope you enjoyed this short story.

Thankyou so much for your patient viait.

Sort:

Working together to protect their young. That's how it should be done in all species. I know that in some bird species, a lifetime mate is chosen.

Thanks for sharing.

Yes, in all living beings this applies. Very true. Thanks for your visit.

I know nothing about gulls or their behaviour but your story sounds very realistic to me. Thanks for joining pic1000. 👍

Thanks a lot. That was the reason, I mentioned it as a fictional story. Though I haven't seen them. I have read a little about them, long ago, when teaching my kids. 🙂

Nice story👍best wishes for contest

Thankyou so much..
