Jane was already at her breaking point; she was stressed and tired of all Sam's web of deceit, betrayal, and lies.
On several occasions she has caught him with different girls, to which he gave lame and weak excuses that it was the girls always flirting with him.
Jane and Sam meet during their freshman year. Jane, frustrated and disoriented, was finding it difficult to locate her department as she wandered around, looking lost on the campus.
Sam was seated with a group of guys nearby laughing and talking when they sighed Jane, looking all frustrated and confused.

Sam was already on his feet, beating Mark to his punch. I will go and see if she needs any help. He said while walking towards Jane before Mark could finish speaking.

Jane hesitated but then replied, "I am trying to locate my department.
That was how this simple exchange sparkled a conversation that led to a relationship that was admired by many on campus.
But lately, Sam's behavior has widen the gap in their relationship.
I can't continue like this. Jane thought to herself, I need to end all this. I don't think Sam is worth my pain.
