So very nervous - 5 minutes freewrite

in Freewriters5 months ago

Anna was so nervous and trembling; her whole body was shaking. She had doubts within herself; she wasn't sure if she should check if her name was on the list or not.

This was the fourth time she had written the school nursing exam. Her dream was to become a nurse.

She had written the entrance exam into the school of nursing three times, and every time she checked the list online, she was heartbroken by what she saw: "Sorry, you have not been admitted into the school of nursing. Try again next session."

This has left her shattered and broken, and she almost gave up. She had refused to take this year's exams when her mom encouraged her not to give up on her dreams and assured her that this would be her last if she put more effort into studying.

While she was still deep in thought about whether she should check or not, her phone rang. It was her mom.

Have you checked the list? I just saw it online that it has been released, as her mom asked. No, she replied. Mom, I'm scared. I don't want to get rejected again.

You won't know if you were accepted or rejected if you don't check. Don't give up on your dreams because you are sacred. Whatever the outcome, I will always be with you. I will be waiting for your call, her mom replied.

Anna picked courage from her mom's words and checked, and to her greatest surprise, she was admitted into the school of nursing.

She immediately called her mom and screamed, "Mommy!" I finally got admitted to the school of nursing.
