Pront: "Suelo que da vida"
Roberto se encontró con una situación bien incómoda en el trabajo, ya que sin darse cuenta se encontró en un proceso de discriminación debido a su condición sexual. A Roberto lo iban a ascender en la empresa donde trabajaba, él iba a tomar la dirección de una gerencia, de hecho, tenía un par de meses ejerciendo las funciones, pero sin tener todavía el cargo, y tanto sus jefes, como sus compañeros de trabajo y sus empleados estaban muy contentos con su desempeño.
Sin embargo, la semana que Roberto iba a tomar el cargo de manera formal, recibió un memo de parte de la Dirección de Personal, en el cual le informaban que él ya no podía recibir el cargo de gerente en su área, debido a que los diputados del gobierno, habían aprobado una ley, que decía, que el 50% de las gerencias y puestos de dirección en las empresas cotizadas y estatales, debían estar en manos de mujeres, para evitar la discriminación.
Y, si la empresa le daba el cargo a Roberto, ese porcentaje se rompería, ya que se pasaría del 50% de un género sobre el otro y se rompería la ley. Además de esa situación, a Roberto se le informó, que se le iba a quitar el bono de producción, que se le había dado, mientras ocupaba el cargo de gerente. Eso bastó, para que Roberto decidiera, retirarse de la empresa y comenzara su camino en otro espacio.
Cuando Roberto fue a otras empresas y otras entrevistas laborales, se consiguió con situaciones bastante desfavorables, como lo son los bajos sueldos, horarios rotativos, distancias muy grandes entre el lugar de trabajo y su residencia y situaciones por el estilo.
Al ver esta realidad, Roberto decidió empezar de cero, pero a través de un emprendimiento propio, y le informó a sus padres, familiares y amigos, que se iría al interior del país a trabajar unas tierras que le dejó su abuelo, ya que ahí produciría, huevos, carne porcina y sembraría maíz.
En un principio, su familia y sus amigos, pensaron que Roberto estaba bromeando. Después, cuando se dieron cuenta de que la situación iba en serio, se burlaron de él, pensando que iba a fracasar, al ser un hombre de ciudad y un trabajador de oficina.
Al pasar unos años, hubo una reunión familiar y Roberto se presentó con su compañera, al hablar sobre su vida y sus trabajos, Roberto, les contó que seguí en su finca y que la misma había crecido, ya que compró otras tierras, lo que le había hecho aumentar su producción en la cosecha y en la producción de carne porcina y de huevos.
Cuando le preguntaron si no deseaba volver a la ciudad, Roberto les dijo, que jamás dejaría el campo, ni dejaría su producción propia para trabajar para otros, y le dio garcías a su abuelo y a la vida, por haberle dado ese suelo que da vida, que produce carne, alimento y sostén para él y su familia.

Roberto found himself in a very uncomfortable situation at work, as he inadvertently found himself in a process of discrimination due to his sexual condition. Roberto was going to be promoted in the company where he worked, he was going to take the direction of a management, in fact, he had a couple of months exercising the functions, but without having the position yet, and both his bosses, his co-workers and his employees were very happy with his performance.
However, the week that Roberto was going to take the position formally, he received a memo from the Personnel Directorate, in which he was informed that he could no longer receive the position of manager in his area, because the government deputies had approved a law, which said that 50% of the managements and management positions in listed and state-owned companies should be in the hands of women, to avoid discrimination.
And, if the company gave the position to Roberto, that percentage would be broken, since 50% of one gender would be passed over the other and the law would be broken. In addition to that situation, Roberto was informed that the production bonus, which had been given to him, was going to be taken away while he held the position of manager. That was enough for Roberto to decide to retire from the company and start his career in another space.
When Roberto went to other companies and other job interviews, it was achieved with quite unfavorable situations, such as low salaries, rotating schedules, very long distances between the workplace and his residence and situations like that.
When he saw this reality, Roberto decided to start from scratch, but through his own business, and informed his parents, family and friends, that he would go to the interior of the country to work some lands that his grandfather left him, since there he would produce eggs, pork and sow corn.
At first, his family and friends thought that Roberto was joking. Later, when they realized that the situation was serious, they mocked him, thinking that he was going to fail, being a city man and an office worker.
After a few years, there was a family reunion and Roberto introduced himself with his partner, when talking about his life and his jobs, Roberto told them that I continued on his farm and that it had grown, since he bought other lands, which had made him increase his production in the harvest and in the production of pork and eggs.
When they asked him if he did not want to return to the city, Roberto told them that he would never leave the countryside, nor would he leave his own production to work for others, and he gave garcías to his grandfather and to life, for having given him that soil that gives life, that produces meat, food and sustenance for him and his family.
