This is my post for #freewriters 2558 prompt not very original hosted by @mariannewest
I know this post is not very original because I have written about Rudy many times. I can not help but write about him because he has a big part of my heart and I know one day he will be gone and I want to look back on my posts about him and smile when I read the things he did.
If you are reading my post for the first time. I first want to thank you, but also give you a little info about Rudy.

Last December I saw one of the dogs jumping on something in our yard, it was a baby rabbit and she had killed it, a few feet away was another one.

All I had to feed him with was a turkey basting syringe, I fed him goat's milk but you can also feed them kitten milk.

I was doing something right because this picture was taken 19 days after I found him.
He lets me pet him but he will fight my husband when he sticks his hand in the cage. They have a game they play my husband trots with his fingers across the cage and stops then Rudy runs to his hands and uses his front feet like he has boxing gloves on. They do this over and over.

He uses a litter box but with how much he runs around his poop gets thrown all over his cage so I clean his cage every day, but not a deep cleaning like I did today where I take everything out and wash the cage and contents.
He was sleeping in his house, aka cardboard box so I had to clean one side of the cage and then move his box. I took his cotton T-shirt that he sleeps on washed where he sleeps, and put down a new shirt for him to sleep on. I picked his house up and put it over the clean bedding and he ran into it.
One time I changed his litter to a different type and he would not use it, he peed on the floor of his cage and I have tried to clean it but I have not found a non-toxic product that takes it up.
I was using a scrub brush on the pee stain and Rudy came charging at it, with his house still over him. He did this several times and when I would switch to a rag to scrub with, he did nothing, I guess he did not like the sound the brush made. I told my husband that Rudy was going to attack the scrub brush but he was not going to do it outside of his house.

Since I cleaned his cage, he has not come out of his house until now, he is 2 hours late. I have been waiting for him to wake up so I could take a picture of him for this post.
I tried to get a picture of him standing but every time I tried, he would run over to me.
