This is my post for freewriters 2520 prompt space navy hosted by @ mariannewest

By the way our weather is deteriorating I decided it might be best if I write this space navy prompt before we lose power. If you do not see a post from me tomorrow, know that we lost power but I am sure we will be ok.

I took my bottle tree down, not because I thought it would blow over but I do not want something to blow into them and lose one or more.

My sister came to get my grandson to help put the shutters on Mom's house but first helped my husband put ours on.

I was thinking, wouldn't it be nice if we did have a space navy, they could send the entire fleet and have them annihilate hurricanes or maybe any other natural disaster.

I was putting plants that I care about inside my husbands shop, and he says, "are you putting them all in here"? I said, no, just these

30 minutes later.

I put my biggest desert roses between our house and other plants, it is hard to totally protect them because we will get a south wind as it hits, then as it passes, we will have a north wind.

I have been working for days trying to get all my plants put in a safe place. My husband picked up the pigeon pea trees that he is growing and carried them into his shop, he says he doesn't want to lose them, and then he sits them here on these plastic totes in his shop. I asked if he thought the wind would blow them off and he said he did not think it would. Looking out the door, you are looking south.

While my sister helped with the shutters, her granddaughters were to help me move plants, which they did until they discovered tadpoles in the mud puddles.

They are very small tadpoles, it is the black spot by her thumbnail. Before they left, I had them put them back in the mud puddle.

We have a tornado somewhere near us, I want to get this posted, hopefully, I will be able to post tomorrow.

Good luck! Hurricanes, tornadoes, and floods sound like not a lot of fun.

I don't think our side will be as bad as we thought it was going to be.
Lots of tornados with fatalities. It is so sad.
I hope our trees keep their roots in the ground.

Looks like you are taking all the precautions you can. Hoping and praying you stay safe!

Thank you, it should be all over before this time tomorrow.
