Scary but Funny... Part-3 - July 29, 2024

When I got up in bed, according to my Grandmother and cousin, my eyes were closed, and my head bowed. According to their story, I was asked.

Grandmother: Kenneth, where are you going?

I answered and said while slowly opening the door that night. I have answered.

Kenneth: Outside and going to play, my friends call me.

My Grandma said my female cousin laughed because she knew I was asleep while walking and talking. According to them, my Grandmother invited me upstairs, followed me, held my hand, and closed the door until I returned to bed. My bed and theirs are right next to each other, with a wooden wall and a mirror in between that can see me.

When I woke up in the morning, they told me the whole story, and they were a little afraid that I would be with them at night because that was not the only thing that happened to me. Some events happen almost every day when the night comes, and I look at something like a glass of water for only 5 to 10 seconds; something goes away from my vision and gets smaller. When that happens, and I move my vision to another place, what I see expands, and everything else I see is a small place and very wide, like 160 degrees. Only my uncle Arnold understands what I see and feel every night because we always slept next to each other from 1988 to 1989 before he went to South Korea to work. I remember, until I was five years old, I still peed in my shorts when I slept.😂

We used to have a billiard table at home that people used to pay to play before. I remember he often joked with me, but it was confirmed that he said,

Uncle Arnold: What, you're seeing something weird again, right? You might find a spirit and follow you, so don't walk away from me.

While he told me that, he smiled and gradually moved away from me to scare me even more. But I didn't move even though I knew that what I was seeing around me was starting. 😅 What I did and told my Uncle Arnold so that I could not show that my vision was starting again was

Kenneth: No, I'm not afraid because there is a light and it's bright.

I thought of another way to get rid of what I was seeing, and what I did think of was running to the bedroom upstairs to watch TV to divert my mind's attention to others until I fell asleep.

The only problem is that it's only for a moment and will only last for a while. So, I will still get out of bed if I don't have a sleeping partner. If I sleep, the whole blanket covers me, and I hug an oversized pillow that, until now, I can still feel how big the pillow is. Even the smell of it is still remembered by my smell and mind.🙂

I also remembered that night in our billiard room, my Aunt Juliette and my other cousins were outside talking about something. I came down after I went to the room because I was scared. I sat on top of the billiard table and listened to their stories because my vision was beginning to be unstoppable, and I was trying to fight it so I wouldn't be afraid. I looked up at the ceiling of the billiard room because there was a long bright tube light that was full of moths because it was raining a bit at that time when suddenly a lizard fell behind me and twisted my butt a little, and I sat on it and accidentally cut it the lizard's tail!😂

These are my cousins, two half-sisters, and my two aunts. And this is the place of our pool table where the lizard fell on my back.

I screamed in shock when I saw that the lizard's tail was cut and still moving. The lizard was running fast without a tail! Because of that incident, my fear and phobia of lizards have continued until now, especially if I see a lizard without a tail.😅

My vision suddenly disappeared when I was surprised by the lizard. I wouldn't say I liked that day, and I can't even forget my cousins' reaction and the people playing billiards in the place while laughing at me.😝

The next day, my cousins were still discussing what happened to me that night, and I looked at the pool table to see if the lizard's tail was still there. And the lizard's tail is there, and the ants are lifting it! They have food for breakfast and lunch!😜

At a young age, I helped my Grandmother, Grandfather, and even my aunts and uncles with household chores. I was the one who watered the plants with a small plastic bucket, and I was also the one who swept the leaves in the garden and around us because big leaves fell from the trees. I feel sorry for them because they are tired, too, and my Grandma still has to cook breakfast after watering the plants in the garden. Only then can they rest when all the housework is done.

Every second day, my Grandmother washes clothes, and the water she uses for washing comes from the well that my Grandfather dug with the help of my uncles and neighbors. Sometimes, I'm the one who fetches water from the well so that my tired Grandmother won't have to suffer anymore and can rest early. Often, my Grandma can only rest for about 1:30 because, at noon, she still has to cook our lunch. My Grandmother is a great mother, and she doesn't leave me alone even though I have other bad experiences with her because of my clumsiness and tendency to cry. From what I observed with my Grandma, if I look back and think about it carefully, I see that my Grandma is tired and has run out of patience with me.😥

This is the story of the incident.
