Obsession with greed is like meeting the devil. It is like a one way trip where one because of the desire of wanting more, end up losing more.
Many a times, there are people who have been blinded and put monetary gains above everything. In order to earn more or become more influential, they resort to underhand methods to gain advantage and finally when they look back at what they've gone through, they lost their friends, colleagues or even family. People will end up shunning away from them.
The perceived price to pay is low when one is gathering more wealth, but the intangible price that was paid is huge and most if not all the time, are priceless and cannot be bought by money.
Contentment versus greed, which is the better path? I believe the choice is rather obvious.
