A Dozen Years Down, Forever to Go: Our Anniversary Reflections
A Journey Through Triumph and Trials
A love that endures
Good afternoon, amazing people!
Today marks a significant milestone in my life, one that's close to my heart. It's my 12th wedding anniversary. As I sit here, reflecting on the past twelve years, I am filled with a deep sense of gratitude and love for my husband and the journey we have shared together. Our marriage has been a rollercoaster ride, with its fair share of ups and downs. The early years were particularly challenging. We faced emotional and financial struggles that tested our resolve and commitment. From moving from one house to another, juggling multiple jobs, and dealing with the loss of loved ones and the uncertainty of a global pandemic, we've weathered many storms together.
I remember the days when we worked tirelessly to make ends meet. My husband is teaching English online, and we sell products online and blog, all while trying to navigate the tumultuous waters of parenthood. The pay was meager, barely enough to cover our bills, let alone save. We even fell prey to scams, pushing us further into financial distress. The struggles were real, and they were hard. It felt like for every step we took forward, we were pushed two steps back. There were moments when the weight of our circumstances was so overwhelming that we contemplated giving up. But we didn't. We held on. We held on to each other, and we held on to our faith.
Fast forward to today, and it feels like we've come full circle. We're back to where we started, but with a stronger bond and a deeper understanding of each other. We've learned that life is unpredictable, that hardships are part of the journey, and that God never gives up on us, even when we're on the brink of giving up on ourselves. I want to take this moment to thank my husband for being my rock during those turbulent times. His unwavering support, hard work, and unconditional love have been my source of strength. His dedication to our family is something I will forever be grateful for.
Looking back, I realize that those struggles, those moments of despair, have shaped us into the couple we are today. They've taught us resilience, patience, and the true meaning of love. They've shown us that, no matter how hard life gets, we always have each other to lean on. So, on this special day, I want to celebrate our journey, our growth, and our love. We are happier now than we've ever been, and I am incredibly grateful for how far we've come. Here's to us, to our struggles, our victories, and the beautiful life we've built together. Cheers to more years of love!
Thank you for reading. Have a lovely day, my friends!
